  • Josh decides he's going to name all of his Pokémon "Muscles" because that's what he randomly called his Squirtle at the start. Tyler, meanwhile, calls his Bulbasaur "Boobissore".
  • During the second episode, the topic comes up of Josh asking Tyler how he introduces himself to people; as in, does he say "I'm Tyler" or "I'm Tyler Sederwall". Luke chimes in "I do that", though seems to be ignored for a moment. When he then gets to speak again, he follows up on this by claiming he introduces himself to people as Tyler Sederwall. Josh claims he does the same, and this becomes a joking Berserk Button for Tyler throughout the episode of them supposedly trying to steal his identity.
    • This leads to a story where Tyler's credit card got stolen at a convention, and whoever stole it tried to spend a couple thousand dollars on World of Warcraft stuff. They didn't get away with it, because the bank contacted Tyler, suspicious because they didn't think anyone would do that with their own money.
  • In the third episode, while Tyler and Josh argue about the English language, Luke awkwardly mentions how he's still here, and jokes about leaving until they're done arguing.
  • Tyler's impression of a Starbucks-obsessed girl mixed with Princess Peach in episode 3.
  • In episode 4, Tyler is steadily falling further behind...and then two-thirds of the way through, he randomly screams for seemingly no reason before revealing that he had forgotten about the Running Shoes, and had been walking normally for the entire episode.
  • In episode 6, Luke and Josh's utter shock when Tyler doesn't realize that Boobissore evolved into Ivysaur several episode ago, and tells Luke and Josh how he just realized it was an Ivysaur.
  • In episode 10, Josh's Humiliation Conga of being completely unable to get a hit with his Blastoise on a Grunt's Ekans to make it faint, either flinching, being unable to move from paralysis or his attacks completely missing. He eventually switches to his Nidoking to finish Ekans off.
    • Also, Tyler singing the beginning of Super Bass by Nicki Minaj.
  • Tyler messes around with an autotune function during episode 12, giving his intro and singing a few songs in autotune (sometimes deliberately bad). Luke even tells him that when he gets angry, he should just sing in autotune rather than yell, and both Josh and Luke jokingly bemoan lacking a function themselves.
    • About two thirds into the episode, Josh realizes that they have literally and unironically devolved into discussing the weather and Tyler spices up the commentary by playing "Let's Play Virginity", where he gives the name of a let's player and the others have to guess what their first let's play was. Luke gets increasingly frustrated, not only because most of the let's players listed people that Josh and Tyler are good friends with (such as StephenPlays or The Runaway Guys), but also because the ones he knows, he apparently doesn't know well enough to remember their first let's plays. This includes him not knowing Josh or Tyler's first let's plays - though in fairness, Josh seemed to have trouble recalling Tyler's too.
  • In episode 14, Tyler using a lifeline to get rid of Luke's Master Ball...right before Luke meets Articuno.
  • In episode 16, Tyler bringing up a fan on Twitter renaming Luke's channel to "Gay Boy Lube".
  • In episode 20, Josh and Luke realize just how big the gap between them and Tyler is. While Luke is preparing to go to Victory Road and while Josh is battling Giovanni for the final time, Tyler states how he finally made it to the sixth gym. Josh and Luke break out laughing after that.
  • In the finale, Tyler coming in 2nd (beating Josh) after taking hoards of abuse from the other two for his lack of ability. And not only the fact that Josh came in last, there's also the fact that Josh failed to beat the Elite Four at all. Also classifies as a Moment of Awesome.
  • The loser challenge. Josh has to sing the Pokemon theme song with a shock collar ("Pikachu") attached to his arm, which Tyler can activate at any time. Hilarity Ensues does not begin to do it justice. Especially when it results in such phrases as "Jesus Christ, the power that's inside!" and "Oh my god, you're my best friend!" that lead the comments to assume Josh is secretly deeply religious.
