Funny / Planet Terror

• A small moment when El Wray is carving up zombies in the hospital, at one point he slashes one's throat, which then sprays a stream of blood, and to avoid infection (which later will turn out to be pointless since he's among the naturally immune people) he makes an awkward stumble backwards to avoid it, looking very out-of-character from the baddassery we just witnessed throughout the rest of the sequence.
• This gem:
  Sheriff Hague: Where the fuck do you think you're going?!
  El Wray: I'm gonna go get Cherry!
  Sheriff Hague: Fine. But we're taking my car.
  (Hague's car spontaneously combusts)
  Sheriff Hague: I'm riding with you.
• The fact that the most "damaged" parts of the movie involve Rose McGowan laying on the ultra-Fanservice. Either she's so hot that she's causing the reels to burn up, or the projectionists have been replaying those parts over and over.
• The "missing reel" from Planet Terror. Suddenly, the diner's on fire and Sheriff Hague has been shot in the neck.
• El Wray shooting the Sickos he passes by on the road while riding Tony's mini motorbike is equal parts badass and hysterically ridiculous.
• "Hi, I'm Cherry." "You sure are."
• When Cherry asks Wray for a ride, he, JT and Rusty the dog all look at her.
• A Stylistic Suck gag concerning B-movies' continuity errors comes during the ending when Cherry kills the Sicko that tried to attack the little girls running towards the survivors' fortress. She opens fire with her Gatling gun leg, graphically tearing the Sicko's head apart in a close-up... but when it cuts far away the zombie actor with his head still intact falls down.
• It's dark comedy for sure, but Tony's death. His mother helps him get a gun, tells him to use it for defense and then warns him twice not to point it at himself. She barely gets ten steps away from the car before he blows his own brains out.
