Funny / Peasant's Quest

Go To

  • As in the first two Thy Dungeonman games, you can kill Rather Dashing by typing "die". The game even gives a snarky "That wasn't very smart." in response.
  • If you type in a command to abuse Poor Gary the horse (such as punch, kick or kill), the game will call you out on it by telling you that you suck at the game. This provides the page image for What the Hell, Player?.
  • The game gives you a Hope Spot suggestion of cutting off your arms, legs and head to squeeze into a hole in Naked Ned's cottage. If you type in that command, the game replies with "Very funny. You have trouble cutting out coupons in the weekly 'Peasant Penny-Pincher' circular. I'd like to see you try." Type in "try", and you get a game over with the text "Okay, fine. You try to cut off your hard-earned extremities. It doesn't work. You dead. Thanks for nothing."
  • If you try to get into the bucket at the well, the game will tell you "Your butt is too big."
  • When you put the baby in the well's bucket, the game will sarcastically call you "Father of the Year".
  • The fact that not only can you "throw baby" into the lake, it's also required for a full score.
  • After the Strong Bad Email "for kids" was posted, the staff added Strong Bad's two commands to the game.
    • Typing "make friends with Kerrek" results in the text box "Look, it didn't work for Strongbad and it's not gonna work for you either."
    • Typing "buy Kerrek a cold one" results in the text box "The kerrek is a teetotaller and is offended by your offer. You've really cheesed him off now." Be careful, because this makes the Kerrek move twice as fast.
  • The sheer fact that dying at Trogdor's hands is enough to win the game. Talk about low expectations.
  • "Get Ye Flask!" (…) "You can't get Ye Flask!"
  • Typing in any kind of profanity will give you the text "Come on now, don't get discouraged."
  • If you try to cheat by typing "cheat", the text box just says "Meh."
