- The tantrum Lt. Greene throws when hearing Roy Complain's report on how his wife Gwenny was abducted by enemy raiders. The gramps tears up, makes a twisted grimace, begins drooling and shaking uncontrollably, has snot burst out of his nose and keeps pounding on his desk in a fit of rage until he falls of his chair from exhaustion and almost has a seizure. Even Complain finds it funny despite knowing it is all aimed at him.
- How Complain's subsequent punishment is enacted: While casually watching the mindless celebration suddenly the tribe's executioner shows up right in front of him, mercilessly knocks him down to the floor face-first and whips him real good. The whole thing happens so abruptly it comes off as utterly hilarious.
- One "shift"note later Complain is voluntarily heading for the executioner's cabin for the second portion of whipping. The executioner wanting to sleep actually shoos him away:
Is this the last shift ever? Get lost and let me sleep! Go find yourself a new woman instead!
