• When the President meets up with the Kryptonian delegation, he jokes: "So you're Supergirl's parents? You owe me a plane, then."
• In "World of New Krypton", Superman and General Zod engage in an endless War of Snark:
  Zod: Speaking as your adversary, even as, at times, your enemy, you have changed New Krypton for the better.
  Superman: Coming from you, I'll take that as a compliment.
  Zod: I couldn't care less how you take it.
• Chris Kent is a huge chick magnet. Thara Ak-Var doesn't care for it. She doesn't care at all.
• When Thara and Kara make up, Thara apologizes for "slamming her into the Eiffel Tower".
• Probably unintentional, since it's supposed to be a cool moment, but Kal El ripping off his military uniform to reveal his Superman costume underneath has some hilarious implications. And if you are wondering, yes, the cape was included. He was going around with the cape under his military shirt.
  • Gets even better since an early issue showed the costume of Superman hanging elsewhere and him changing into it, making it look like after the incident he just decided to keep wearing it underneath just in case.
