  • The guys had a ball with the Big-Lipped Alligator Moment scene with the old couple.
Mike: They were broadminded to cast aliens in these roles.
Servo: [on Helen] It's the Cracked magazine guy!
    Mike: The Incredible Melting Grandma!
Servo: Did someone switch reels on us?!
    Crow: What is happening?!
Mike: She looks like a Killer Klown From Outer Space.
Servo: She's got huge bird feet! [Crow starts making odd chicken clucks and turkey gobbles]
Mike: [as Helen] I love my go-go boots!
Crow: And they were never seen again! (Cross your fingers.)
Crow: [as Harold] Let's hide in one of your skin flaps!
    Helen: Let's get busy.
Mike: [as Harold] That's later, dear.
  • Some good riffs during the Melting Man's attempt to get the young redneck woman:
Servo: [when she screams as she discovers the Melting Man eating her boyfriend] The eight-track ate Flirtin' With Disaster!
Crow: [while she collapses after cutting his arm off] Oh, great — now the acid kicks in!
    [moments later...]
Crow: [as she screams again] God I hate this wallpapeeeerrrrr!
  • After Dr. Ted Nelson identifies himself and is immediately shot by security guards:
Mike: [as the Melting Man] Woah! Not Ted Nelson! No relation to Ted Nelson here!
  • The Artistic License – Biology gets a lot of riffing.
Crow: [as the cop who explodes with sparks touching a power line] Why did I go on that high phosphorous diet?!
  • Servo perfectly times a comment, as a black janitor begins cleaning up what's left of the Melting Man:
Servo: [as the janitor] I'll never understand white people...
  • On the whole, The Incredible Melting Man is an underrated episode. The spectacularly low-quality film filled with beyond-ridiculous happenings and long silences provides Mike & the Bots with plenty of material, and the Host Segments where the cast and crew essentially work through the hellish experience they had making The Movie are as hilarious as they are savage.
