• There's something darkly humorous about the kids gushing how the next war is going to be even bigger and better.
• On the meta sense, NCH Productions, which usually does videos for the Monster Hunter series, did this rendition of the Cyclops Team raid that opened the series, only using cute MS girls fighting over a grill with paintball guns and balloon missiles.
• Bernie tells a Federation guard he's from Sydney and that it's covered in snow at this time of year. The guard later figures out Bernie was lying, not because of the unlikelihood of snow in Australia or the fact that Sydney as we know it got wiped off the face of the Earth, but because it's currently summer in Australia.
• When Bernie sees that Al's mom has left, he tries to get closer to the house (as he was assigned to keep an eye on him so he doesn't spill the beans on their mission). He instead gets clobbered by Chris with a baseball bat, who mistook him for a prowler. Funnier still from the sounds you hear, Chris managed to knock him out with a single hit (and strong enough that she thought she'd killed him).
