Examples of funny moments in Mitsuboshi Colors.
- Colors trolling Saito are a big source of funny moments:
- The whole sequence where Colors attempt to use a toy rocket launcher to blow up Saito, culminating in him suffering from a case of Groin Attack.
- When they extort him into buying bananas by making an old lady believe that he's hurting them.
- They challenge Saito to a snowball fight where one of the snowballs is filled with dog poop. He backs away.
- Kotoha attempting to prevent Nonoka from sneezing due to seasonal allergies by punching her in the gut. Then the other two provide further "help" by beating up poor Nono-chan.
- Sat-chan challenges herself to speak only once while they investigate a case, which she wastes at the very beginning by making one of her usual "poop" comments. Sometime later, she receives another opportunity to speak during the case, which she eventually uses to steal Kotoha's "Game clear!" Catchphrase. Koto's obviously not amused.
- In the winter episode the girls simultaneously slip on snow and decide to just lie on it all the while musing about how it's good that the snow makes it easy to spot dog poop so they won't step in it. Yui and Sat-chan then turn their heads to look at each other only to discover there was a dog poop between them the whole time. Their reaction is priceless.

- The trio's mission to take pictures of panties and be made into a statue. It quickly degrades into running around town with a toy car with Colonel Monochrome on board operating the camera. When one of the street store vendors decides to give the girls some leftover candy they ask him, whether they can take a picture with him. They proceed to lie him on the ground and Kotoha places her foot on top of his head. The scene is eerily akin to a mafia ransoming shops.
