• One funny moment from his "first impressions" video of "Super Mario 3D World", is almost 15 minutes in when he's trying to remember the name of the football player character from Super Mario World. The title screen practically displays the character's name for him (Charging Chuck), and he still misses it!
• His recreation of the Cannonball screams during "James and Mike Play: Pilotwings 64".
  "Waaaaah! Wraaaaah! Ohhh my god I'm gonna fuckin' die! Aaaaaaah! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god aaaaah! Oh goood I'm gonna diiiie! Aaah! AAAAH! AAAAH!"
• In the Mike & Ryan episode DuckTales 2, the duo come across a cannon that Scrooge can pull. Mike starts to make duck squawks every time Scrooge pulls it, sending the two into hysterics.
• In the Mike & Bootsy episode where they play "Super Wario Bros.", Mike attempts to jump over Koopa and just barely touches one of the spikes on Koopa's back, killing him.
  Mike: FUCK! Nooooooooo!!! (laughs) Come on.
  Bootsy: I think that's the angriest I've ever seen you.
• The debut episode of Retail Reviews had Mike, Ryan and Kieran discussing the Sega Genesis Mini. It started off congenial and fair, but Mike slowly started getting more argumentative, dismissive and purist, to the point where he actually encouraged piracy instead of the Sega Genesis Mini, despite owning a game store (an irony that Ryan quickly called attention to). Things finally came to a head when Kieran defended the Mini by saying "This thing is pretty good!" Mike responded with, "You know what's pretty good?!" and grabbed Kieran's shirt, starting an off-screen scuffle which ended up with Kieran being thrown through the store window. Kieran dusted himself off and said, "Yeah? Well I'm late for my shift at James's anyway." The video ended with the text disclaimer: "Mike isn't really fighting with Kieran. He also doesn't really hate the Sega Genesis Mini."
• Top 10 Angry Video Game Mike: While playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1989), Mike loses a Turtle on the Technodrome and being spit back to the map- rather than curse at the TV, he does the exact opposite reaction: He puts his hand over his mouth and just stares wide-eyed at the screen for upwards of half a minute before finally speaking again: "Fucking..."
  • In the same compilation, Mike's weird growling noise when taking damage in Tiny Toon Adventures.
• While playing Red Dead Redemption, he walked outside and his horse (whom he called Horse Penis for some reason) is accidentally hit by an oncoming train. His shocked "OHHH!" reaction is priceless.
