• When the subject of her mother comes up, Cassie says she died in childbirth. At Mary Parker's baby shower. While pointing to Mary's baby bump.
  Cassie: Well it wasn't so bad. Well obviously it was bad. She died. But I grew up totally healthy. Death in childbirth is very rare.
• When trying to get the girls to leave the train with her, Mattie refuses to come along. Rather than argue with her, Cassie just yanks Mattie's skateboard away from her, forcing the girl to follow her out the train. She holds onto it for the rest of the escape scene.
• Cassie's "This is still not a kidnapping, okay?"
• When Cassie finally explains to the girls that she can see the future, there's a Beat before Mattie throws a rock at her.
  Cassie: What the hell?!
  Mattie: She didn't see that coming.
• The girls commiserate while left in the woods, Anya snarking that rich girl Mattie probably summers in the Hamptons next to Martha Stewart. This being 2003, Julia suddenly pipes up "isn't it so sad what happened to Martha Stewart?" The other two look at her witheringly before continuing their argument.
• After reading her mother's research on the Spider Tribe, and seeing Ezekiel's wall crawling, Cassie attempts to see if she has any wall crawling powers as well. She places her hands on the wall, the music builds dramatically, she jumps... and promptly slides down the wall. She tells the nearby cat that they won't share what happened with anyone.
