  • The end of the Morai Ruins story dungeon has Armen crashing in from out of NOWHERE on a golden bell like a wrecking ball as you fight Thanatos. There's no hints beforehand and can elicit some unexpected chuckles.
  • Anikka's overarching storyline is about fighting in a martial arts tournament. But there are no rules against the player for using weapons such as guns when playing a Gunner class. Hilarity Ensues when you shoot all of your opponents into submission Indiana Jones-style and start dancing in victory.
    • The final quest reward for the main story there is worth a laugh too. You get a golden dragon costume complete with funny sounds and a humorous dance.
  • A running gag with the player is that whenever they arrive on a new continent in search of the Ark, they IMMEDIATELY ask random people on the harbor if they know what or where it is. Said people usually react with confusion over what the Ark is or tell the player to leave them alone.
  • The first Rapport quest with Queen Ealyn in Vern has her complaining and venting her frustration over her Senators in a rather... Un-queenly like manner. Her reaction when she realizes you're standing right behind her is also pretty funny as she orders you to her in a flustered manner.
  • The end of the Yorn questline has you, Neria, Balthorr and the rest of the Umars coming out of nowhere and singing and dancing like straight out of a Disney movie.
  • One of the periodically spawning islands out in the world contains a world boss. Said world boss is a giant chicken. It can also turn everyone fighting it into chickens to boot.
  • During the first leveling portion of the game you're likely to pick up a strange map that ends up starting a fourth wall breaking quest chain detailing that the entire world is a hoax, all the NPCs are somewhere between robots and employees and occasionally they get misassigned roles. For example one Tooki personality somehow ended up attached to a box while a basic mannequin framework is roaming the world attempting to find other rebellious or misassigned NPCs. You eventually end up in a beta version of Prideholme with the various Nerias breaking character, replay the very first section of the game and end the whole area by pulling Armen up from the cliff at the start of the game, only to kick him in the chest so he plummets to his death. Then your character starts cheering because apparently they hate Armen too.
