  • The episode titles are hilariously blunt:
    • "I Really Have No Redeeming Qualities."
    • "I'm Free To Have Sex In Any Way That I Want!"
    • "Who Cares?"
    • "That's Why I Told You To Stop, You Scum!"
    • "Shit...Shit Shit Shit Shit!"
  • Yuuko's look of absolute horror when she realizes that Nomoto is following Hitomi's orders...and entirely content with that.
Nomoto: We call it 'Operation Unthink.'"
  • Hitomi abruptly punching out Oshie in an omake.
  • Shinozaki flawlessly keeps the Destroyal show going, even as she's perched on top of the corpses of assassins sent to disrupt it. She sounds like she's having the time of her life.
  • Ui, on the brink of defeat, accidentally roundhouse kicks Eruza, which wins her the Destroyal. Twelve of the strongest, fiercest werebeasts in a lawless fight to the death, and the last one standing is a goddamn rabbit. She doesn't even know she's won until Shinozaki interviews her about it!
  • After the Destroyale, Shidoh informs one character that the mutilated man in the room has died of a heart attack and offers his condolences. The context of the scene plus the contrast between his grim disposition and the childish glee of his fellow businessmen as they reveal their nefarious plans make for some hilarious Black Comedy.
  • The season 2 heroine is a beagle.
  • In a gag crossover with Arachnid and Caterpillar, the three protagonists face each other in a cooking contest with Yuuya as the judge. However, Hitomi just pours honey over a plate and Imomushi gets distracted reading comics until her dish burns to a crisp. Alice, the sort of Only Sane Woman of her series, does make a suitable cake... only to spring a Razor Floss trap to tie Yuuya over the table and needlessly threaten him to death to force him to favor her.
  • Pure first meets Tasuku at school when the latter is beating up a bunch of people while surrounded by onlookers. Pure greets Tasuku with a glomp and tries to thank her for earlier, but gets repeatedly punched away while the other students look in confusion. What sells it is how not only Pure stands back up unharmed like nothing happened but makes peace signs the second time she's blown away.
  • While Yuuya is berating Hitomi for her attempt to assassinate him, she takes heavy offense to him saying she's a pawn of her father. He quickly changes his tune and tries to calm her with eyes rolled up in exasperation, but it is Pure who defuses the situation by remarking Yuuya must love Hitomi to have returned despite the risks. Hitomi is actually flustered by this, and later Yuuya comments he can't explain how he really feels about her. The next day, Pure's claims to Tasuku's bewilderment that Yuuya and Hitomi really are exes.
  • Chapter 68: Hitomi, still sore from all the recovery-surgery required after the Destival, asks Nomoto to sponge-wash her. Her commentary however, makes it sound like something completely different, leaving a wide-eyed, madly blushing, Pure listening in from outside with two melting soft-serves in her hands as she eavesdrops further on the whole thing.
  • Oshie's side chapters end with the reveal she cannot be a honeyguide. And contrary to months of fan expectation, neither is Nomoto! The trolling continues...
  • Haiji collapsing with her limbs up in the air, like an actual goat, when she discovers she has a secret admirer.
  • Lambert confessing that he fell in love with Haiji after getting a look at her panties, leaving both the goat-girl and Pure baffled while the narrator gives animal trivia about a real-life kangaroo stealing multiple panties. Haiji bluntly dares him to fight her for the panties and blows him out of the building in a single move.
  • Haiji ranting about how she actually has despised Pure and her extroverted nature the whole time... while the beagle is latched on to her in a compromising pose, looking shocked after her attempt to bite Haiji's neck and pin her down didn't quite work out.
  • Chapter 108: Pure keeps acting as cheerful as she can in front of Rio to make her careless. Instead, Rio clearly intends to not hold back at all, tapping her shoulder while making an ominous Implied Death Threat to an unnerved Pure. As the beagle girl calms down, her eyes inevitably wandering towards the large chest of the tall lady in front of her, her tulpa Nunuupi still believes their bluff has worked out and that they can handily defeat Rio. And then Rio immediately goes full Mammoth.
