  • The Bacteria. It's is a prime example of Nightmare Fuel, but can be amusing nonetheless:
    • At one point, the Bacteria's shouts get calmer, sounding like "Stay still." like the creature is trying to be less intimidating and trick the camera guy into falling for it. The Bacteria resumes trumpeting like a demon elephant, as if immediately dropping that idea.
    • It has a gut-busting moment where the camera operator turns around to see if he's far away from it only to find it no-clipping through the walls while simultaneously T-posing.
  • The way camera guy says "You gotta be kidding me."
  • The scene with the chair suddenly flying into a wall at the end of the hall, with the camera guy instantly turning around.
  • There's something highly amusing about a stick figure lifting its legs up high and returning them to the ground softly, yet a deafening "stomp" is heard each time.
  • The Jump Scare may be horrifying, but the creature at least gives a warning that it's behind the operator by letting out a little noise that is weirdly adorable and sounds like "Wooo." This can either make the camera guy's scream right afterwards when he turns around even scarier or downright hilarious. The scene resembling a game of hide-and-seek adds to the humor.
  • Even the Bacteria in Pitfalls can end up being oddly amusing. When Marvin finds them, the Bacteria seems to be excited and flails about without immediately pursuing as if giddy to see another being visit and they start rocking out.
    • As a Call-Back to this incident, in Reunion, Mark mentions that "There are no visible signs of Marvin's friend." Marvin responds in a "Yeah, very funny." tone that "That is absolutely not the name I'm going with."
  • Possibly counts as Black Comedy, but in Presentation, the animation showing an idealised, thriving neighbourhood in "A-Space" still includes fenced-off Bottomless Pits near the residential zone, trying to brush this off as somehow normal. There is also a figure standing by the guard rail as if to show the pits as an interesting place to take a break.
