Funny / It's Always Spooky Month

• The way Skid and Pump scare people in chapter 1. Shouting things like "taxes," "Root canals," or "Student loans," probably wouldn't be much more than a startle.
• Monster clearly being confused when Skid and Pump mention part of what happened in ''Unwanted Guest'' in chapter 2.
  "We were friends with a candy man." Skid said, chattering incessantly.
  "And an ice cream man. We rode in his white van." Pump said, also chattering.
  "That's...concerning." The Monster said slowly.
  "We learned that only good things happen in white vans." Skid said, Pump nodding vigorously at his words.
  "...How did you two ever survive?" the Monster asked.
  "We don't know."
  "We died actually."
  "And we delivered sugar from the sugar dealer."
• Later in the same chapter, Carol sees Whitty holding up Skid...
  Carol: "Whitty? What are you doing?"
  Whitty: "Uh. Hi."
  Carol: "Are you abducting children?"
  Whitty: "WHAT? You think I'd do that? No, no it's not what it looks like... Am I abducting you?"
  Skid and Pump: "Yes."
  Whitty: "WHAT!"
  Carol: "Relax, I'm kidding."
