Funny / Imagination Movers

Go To

  • In "The Tooth Hurts", one of the methods the Movers use to convince Warehouse Mouse to go to the doctor is making a puppet show. Things go well to start off with... but due to limited space, the Movers end up causing the stage to fall apart.
Scott: (speaking through hand puppet) The end.
    • Scott attempts to use his Wobble Goggles to catch Warehouse Mouse, only for the latter to escape via secret exit.
Scott: He escaped. (he points at the walls) And he's running that way.
      Dave: What's that way?
      Smitty: Knit Knots' office.
      (beat)
      All: Uh-oh.
    • The Movers ends up getting lost in the Maze Room while chasing Warehouse Mouse.
Dave: Rats. We've been outsmarted by a mouse.
    • After they lay a small trap by thinking they left to get Warehouse Mouse out of his hole, they all go in for the catch once he lets his guard down. Smitty successfully catches him, while Rich catches Scott's foot, with the latter having caught Dave's shoulder. Who did Dave catch?
      Scott: You got yourself.
      Dave: Oop.
  • Not even a few seconds after the Movers enter the warehouse in "Too Cool" do they immediately decide to deal with the cold by putting on some warm clothes. It isn't enough to keep them warm.
    • After checking the very cold room to try and find the source of the cold, they return to the main area to find the place colder than before. Dave's eyebrows are covered in frost along with Smitty's nose... and Scott's Wobble Goggles which causes him to become blind due to them obscuring his view.
    • Rich struggling with saying that they have a problem, with the others wondering if he is trying to say pumpkin pie, peanut pineapple pizza, and ping pong paddle. Rich tries to write it out with his drumsticks... only for the first letter he writes to freeze over and shatter.
    • After the Brainstorm dance, Smitty pulls out his journal to figure out what is making the warehouse cold. After iceberg is crossed off, the journal shows a snowman... which promptly freezes over after it's shown.
Smitty: Wow! It's so cold in the warehouse it froze up my journal.
      • The Movers then decide to just think of the answer... with their thought bubbles freezing over not even a second later.
Rich: It's even too cold to think!
    • The Movers decides to just go to the sunroom to get some warmth. After a song, they suddenly start to freeze again. Immediately after, Nina appears which causes Rich to jump from his chair.
    • As the Movers and Nina try and fail to find out the source of the cold, the warehouse eventually gets so cold that it starts to snow.
    • The source of the cold: Warehouse Mouse's air conditioner which won't turn off. Rich is ecstatic because it finally explains why the warehouse is cold... but Scott asks why Warehouse Mouse would need an air conditioner.
Dave: Where did he get that?
      Smitty: From me.
      Everyone: What?
      • After hearing Smitty's explanation, Dave remembers that he built the tiny air conditioner. Apparently, Dave threw it into the junk room because it worked too well.
  • At the start of "A Puppy Problem", the Movers are cleaning up in the warehouse. Scott is in awe that they got so much junk, which Rich counters by saying not all of it is junk while playing "Shave and a haircut" on what he's currently holding. Scott then tries to play a tune on... something that looks like a cable drum, only getting a sound that briefly startles him.
Scott: No, I think this one's junk.
    • As Dave is taking out a big pile of junk for the recycling bin, the others place some more junk onto the already big pile. First, Smitty gives him a hardhat, then Rich gives a blanket, and then Scott gives him the cable drum-thing. Sure enough, Dave ends up staggering about due to the slightly increased weight and doesn't get outside.
      • And when there's knocking on the door, Dave proceeds to drop the big pile on the floor.
    • When the Movers wonders what to do once they hear knocking on the door, Smitty suggests that they should simply answer it. Cue all four Movers rushing to the door, only to crash into each other.
Rich: How about just one of us answers the door?
(all of them takes a step forward, realises this before having Rich open the door)
    • As Rich answers the door, he is dumbfounded to find no-one there. It is only after the others gestures him to look down that he finds the "customer"; a puppy.
      • The fact that the puppy was apparently smart enough to knock on the door despite having no logical way of doing so.
    • At the end of the song "Playing Catch", Rich and Dave, while chasing the puppy, ends up crashing into the big pile of junk which the latter dropped earlier.
    • Scott chasing the puppy through the warehouse. They even enter the Pogo Room before coming out of the Trash Room. The end of the chase ends with Scott accidentally knocking over a table with a potted plant.
Scott: (with the plant on his head) This is harder than I thought.
    • After Humdrum disappears in the warehouse, Smitty says that they'll have to comb every inch in the place until they find him. Cue Dave pulling out a giant comb.
      Dave: Comb on!
Scott: Ready or not, here we comb!
    • Scott: I've been following my own footprints.
    • Rich proposes that, if they can't find Humdrum, then maybe Humdrum can find them. Smitty tells him that they aren't lost, only for Rich to tell them that they'll call out for Humdrum.
      Scott: But we tried that.
Rich: Not with this. (pulls out a big megaphone)
      • What follows are three attempts made by Rich to get Humdrum to find them, with the voice echoing throughout the whole building, shaking Warehouse Mouse's home, as well as forcing the others to cover their ears. After the third attempt:
        Rich: Maybe one more.
        Everyone else: (hurrily) NO!
Rich: (lowers the megaphone) Ooh. I cannot believe he didn't hear that.
  • Rich and Smitty ends up having their hands stuck thanks to Dave's Super Goop in the titular "Super Goop" episode.
    • The Movers' try to pull Rich and Smitty apart to get the goop off. It fails.
    • The next they try is to shake it off. It fails too.
Scott: Wow, Dave. Super Goop really is the stickiest thing you've ever invented.
      Dave: Thanks!
      Dave: Sorry.
    • The next attempt is Dave trying to brush the goop off with a giant toothbrush. After a few seconds, we skip to Dave still brushing... while the others have fallen asleep.
Dave: (sighs) I don't think this is working...
  • The wind room in "It's a Breeze" is left open by the time the Movers arrive. After noting that it is a rule to keep the door closed, Smitty asks who left it open.
    Rich: Not me.
    Smitty: Not me.
    Dave: Not me.
Scott: (whistles) Nice weather we're having today, huh?
(the others look at him. Rich puts his palm to his face)
    Scott: Kinda... windy.
    The others: Scott.
  • At the beginning of "Bucket of Trouble", Dave is adjusting his super-duper deluxe bug catcher. Smitty points out that they don't have any bugs, rendering the bug catcher meaningless. Dave's response?
    • After they watch Knit Knots' commercial for Boring Breakfast Bits:
Smitty: That's it! That's how we'll get customers.
    • The Movers' preparing their own commercial, with the set-up ready. Although it doesn't go as planned due to Scott flubbing his line. The first time, Smitty reminds him of the line. The second time, Scott has this to say:
      Scott: That was closer!
      • The next few takes cycles through three of Scott's flubbed lines. Smitty eventually breaks down from this.
    • When Warehouse Mouse snatches one of Rich's drumsticks, Rich chases after him and, predictably, gets his foot stuck in a bucket. Three guesses as to what bucket it was.
      Dave: I caught a bug!
    • After the Brainstorm sequence, Dave suggests that they remove the bucket with a blowtorch.
Rich: We're not usin' a blowtorch.
  • "Sneeze and Thank You" has quite a few moments.
    • After finding out that the phone is broken, Dave tries to fix it... only for him to suddenly start sneezing, eventually sneezing the parts off the table.
Scott: I've counted five sneezes so far.
      (Dave sneezes)
      Rich: Six.
      (Dave sneezes again)
      Smitty: Seven.
Dave: Wow, I can't stop... (sneezes again)
      Scott: Eight.
      • After getting up again, Dave assures that he is okay... before sneezing for the ninth time, sending his cap flying.
    • One of the Movers' first ideas is for Dave to wear a fake nose, settling with having him wear what is essentially Groucho Marx glasses. While it does do the trick, Dave runs into a problem: he can't see what he's doing with them on.
Scott: Your nose is too big.
      (Dave looks at him)
Scott: I mean your fake nose.
  • In the episode Shall we Dance, Boris has handsome man hair gel. One time, he says, "What, am i too handsome for you know?"
  • From the song "Friendly Guy," which is about making over a monster that people think looks scary: "Wash your face, your hands too, your eyebrows just need shampoo."
  • The Imagination Movers are surprised to have Cinderella in the Warehouse.
Movers: We know you! We know your story! You're...
    Rich, Dave, Smitty: Cinderella!
Scott: Sleeping Beauty! ... Yeah, what they said.
