• In the Liz storyline, Josh introduces the (homeless) Lucas to David, a pediatrician who does urban farming behind his house
  Lucas: You have a house? Hi, David.
• "What The F**K." That is all.
  • Also the Bait-and-Switch where the audience is led to believe that Beth slept with Lucas, when really Liz slept with Josh.
• Another hilarious moment between Lucas and David, when David brings up the topic of having a family together.
  Lucas: Children are needy, whiny and moody.
  David: I tend to find that endearing.
  (beat)
  Lucas: I see what you did there.
• When Liz announces she is pregnant:
  Josh: Hey, hey, that is some surprise
  Liz: Yeah, your little swimmers are determined little guys.
• Also during "Surprise" a Funny Moment combined with a Tear Jerker: Beth is pregnant with Lucas's child but wants to focus on her career. Lucas shows up drunk and wants to have sex with her immediately. Funny because of how Anthony Rapp delivers the lines, Tear Jerker because of her later decision to not tell Lucas, abort the child and later fall out with him because of the abortion.
  "One candle, Beth! I know how you hate waste!"
• When a pregnant Liz is reading the news in a grumpy mood. Imagine the response delivered in the most deadpan tone imaginable.
  Josh: I choose not to be hurt by that. I understand pregnant women are emotional.
  Liz: I'm not emotional. Fuck you, I'll kill you.
• Lucas and David taking baby Jake out for a stroller ride: David rides a bike ahead, while Lucas skateboards with the jogging stroller. When Liz freaks out, they assure her that they padded him well, even with a "cute little helmet".
• When the army tells Josh to ship out for his third tour, he and Liz have this exchange:
  Liz: Tell them no!
  Josh: You can't tell them no!
  Liz: Yes you can you write them an email- HELL. NO.
