As is the case with all pages detailing Funny Moments, Spoilers Off

  • Zim has been trying to take over the Earth, and failing, for centuries. Thirteen really should arrest him, but they find him too hilarious.
  • Chapter 8: When Ochaco believes that the Omnitrix is a government secret she was afriad that Thirteen will now silence her and erase her files to the point she never even existed to keep her from telling anyone.
  • It's kinda funny to see Izuku crushing everyone in the Quirk Apprehension test, given that the Omnitrix gives him versatile powers.
    • Bakugou's reaction when he sees Ochaco blow his score out of the water, and not even try. All the funnier given that she purposefully did so to spite him.
  • Chapter 17, despite being pretty serious has some good moments:
    • When Todoroki and Ochaco ask why Tetrax attack them when he's only at the USJ to protect Izuku, he points out that they did attack him first.
    • Shigaraki manages to get the jump on Diamondhead and places his hand on his chest to Decay him... only for it to have absolutely no effect on him. Diamondhead, oddly calm despite the death threats, asks if the villain is having performance issues.
  • Chapter 19:
    • Even All Might finds Ochaco's excitement for the Sports Festival scary.
  • Chapter 20:
Ditto #1: Ditto, give Ditto your $200. You landed on his property.
Ditto #3: No! He's in jail! I'm not going to give my money to a criminal.
Ditto #2: That's not how you PLAY!
Ditto #4: Ditto, why is Ditto screaming?
Ditto #1: Shut the fuck up Ditto! You don't get to talk after stealing my last RAILROAD!
Ditto #2: I WISH I WAS NEVER BORN!
Ditto #1: ME TOO! YOU THINK I WANTED THIS!?
  • Chapter 26: President Mic tries repeatedly to come up with a name for Izuku's new alien before settling on Big Chill
  • Chapter 27:
    • After he defeats Shoto with Heatblast, Izuku begins panicking, believing himself to actually be on fire.
    • Heatblast starts making fire puns at the end of his match with Shoto during the Sports Festival. Midnight gets annoyed by his antics and sprays him with a fire extinguisher.
    • Several students from Class 1-A and Class 1-B use Heatblast to roast marshmallows.
  • The Running Gag of Tsuyu considering Izuku's hero names for the aliens to be lame. Even funnier when she finds the ones where he didn't name them cool.
  • In chapter 30 class 1-A has to use code names chosen by their classmates for a day before coming up with their hero names.

    • When Argit refused to tell Izuku where Clancy could be, the latter responded by throwing him into a trash can and shaking it.
    • SixSix's lines may sound gibberish but rearranged them and you'll get...
SixSix: oyu oklo kiel tsih. (Translation: You look like shit)
SixSix: Veerrhtaw, oll'yu eb eehtr lnuit het touahr yssa os. (Translation: Whatever, you'll be there until the author says so.)
SixSix: Aghitrl olpt cvdeei, hree ew og. (Translation: Alright plot device, here we go.)
  • Chapter 36 has Gran Torino and Gang Orca reacting to Izuku and Ochaco in the hospital.
  • Chapter 37:
    • Gran and Ochaco's parting.
    • Shinso declaring he's not here to make friends and then later bonding with his classmates thereby making friends.
      • Also when he sees Izuku's reaction to him joining their class which the narration describes as basically looking like a little kid whose best friend just came for a sleepover.
    • When Izuku goes to show off Stinkfly to his classmates, Ojiro, Sero, and Tenya prevent him by grabbing his arm because to quote Tenya, “I’m sorry Midoriya, but…” His completion turns green. “I can’t bear to stomach that stench.” A single tear leaks out of his eye. “Don’t let the others suffer a similar fate.”
    • After learning that Shinso uses a voice changer to help him with his powers, he begins to cycle through multiple people's voices. (All Might, Uraraka, Kirishima, Aoyama, Bakugou, Iida.)
    • Izuku's reaction to his father coming home after all these years: "WHAT THE F-!?!"
  • Izuku's numerous hoverboard flight tests in the omake.
  • Chapter 38:
    • Izuku's reaction to Inko and Hisashi acting like a pair of newlyweds.
    • While an intense moment, there is a great deal of humor made in Izuku calling Bakugou a "whiny bitch," especially when Bakugou's reaction was to freeze in stunned surprise.
    • Later in the chapter Izuku goes down to Mr. Baumann's store to get away from his father. It's played like a man going to a bar to drown his sorrows, which Baumann lampshades.
    • Izuku begins to mutter off a list of rapid-fire questions when he learns that his father is a Plumber, which his father answers in the same creepy manner that Izuku mutters in. We now know where he gets it from.
  • Chapter 40:
    • Wildmutt dragging Sero around by his tape, the narration comparing it to a dog on a leash pulling its owner around.
    • Mina treating Wildmutt like an actual dog, he even sticks his tongue out and taps his foot.
    • Between Koda's extreme shyness and Wildmutt's inability to talk, Mina declares she's going to lead their team only to cave under the pressure less than a minute after saying this.
    • The sheer shock everyone has when Koda actually talks.
    • After getting ready to go after the other teams, Wildmutt lets out a triumphant roar, only to time out and turn back into Izuku, to Mina and Koda's exasperation.
Izuku: Um, but maybe after I recharge.
      Mina and Koda: *Face Fault*
    • Tsuyu states that Wildmutt is her favorite alien because he can't make puns.
  • Chapter 41:
    • Tensei and Fuyumi spend most of the day arguing over whose younger sibling is better, bringing up examples from when the two boys were younger.
      • Tenya's embarrassment and Shoto's indifference are also good for a chuckle.
    • Denki tried to prevent his mother, Voltage Heroine Thundershock, from embarrassing him by sabotaging her car. How? By draining her car battery.
Jiro: Um. Dude, she's the Voltage Heroine.
Kaminari: (gasps out in horrid shock)
    • Right after that, Jiro voices her opinion that Thundershock is way cooler than her son.
      • Though it comes back to bite her when her dad begins cheering her on, embarrassing her.
  • Chapter 47:
    • Mina and Ochaco encounter Din Djarin and Grogu at Baumann's, the former displaying his famous Papa Wolf nature when they get too close to the latter.
    • Izuku transforms into Wildmutt with Ochako and Mina on his back ready to ride out and track down the villains, only to pause and slowly move around Mr. Baumann's car before resuming.
    • Izuku's inability to call in Thirteen or Hisashi because of things on both Plumbers' ends of the line are pretty funny. In Thirteen's case she's too busy breaking up a bar fight between a Xenomorph and a Yautja, meanwhile Hisashi is so out of practice with everyday Earth tech he can't even answer his cell.
    • Then when he tries the Plumber base, it fails because One-One is throwing his own private party and is unable to hear the call as a result.
    • Izuku transforms into Rath for the first time. And it is glorious!
Rath: Rath is going to wipe the floor with you! Then Rath is going to use your own goons to wipe you off the floor! And then Rath is going to wipe the floor with you all again and use it as a litter box!!
      Vulkanus: That made no sense.
      Beat
Rath: You make no sense! RAAAWWR!!
    • The way that Ochaco and Mina genuinely thought that Izuku killed Vulkanus is a nice form of Black Comedy.
    • As Rath, Izuku finally understands Bakugou: "Huh? Is this how Bakugou feels all the time?"
  • Chapter 48:
    • The montage of Izuku and Hisashi's road trip going wrong, including getting attacked by feral tanukis, eating burgers that make them vomit, and the canyon they're hiking in getting flooded. To really sell it the montage is taken right from A Goofy Movie.
      • Krabb tries to attack the Midoriyas during said montage but keeps missing every time.
    • After an awesome battle with Heatblast, Krabb is reduced to his still-living head, and instead of taking him into the Plumber HQ, the Midoriyas put him in a cupboard so they can continue their road trip.
  • Chapter 49:
    • As Izuku and Bakugou clear out the camp of invading mushrooms, Izuku cautions Bakugou to remember this isn't a game, only to be distracted by coins dropped.
      • It's even funnier because, as Terraspin, he can't pick them up.
  • Chapter 51:
    • After seeing Kraab and Chopper in person, Mei becomes obsessed with tearing them apart and learning how they work, the latter even sacrifices the former to escape.
    • Apparently after 200 years, Nintendo still has problems with their joystick
  • Chapter 53:
    • Kaminari and Jiro are both dumbfounded when they learn that S.A.M.'s reason for attacking the Summer Music Festival is for the sole purpose of making his big break.
    • Everyone's reaction when S.A.M., who is tone-deaf, begins to sing.
  • Chapter 54:
    • Kraab and Chopper are terrified of Mei, given that she wants to tear them apart to see what makes them tick.

    • Billy Billions gets irked every time one of the Class 1-A girls mentions Deku, it even gets to the point where he begins to curse him, despite not knowing who he is.
    • When the girls decided to split-up while trying to find their missing friends; Tsuyu, Kyoka, and Toru, hear Mina scream causing them all to find and save her...only to Face Fault when they find out she's okay.note
  • Chapter: 58:
  • Chapter 59:
    • The training droids are the Battle Droids from Star Wars, including the usual antics and hilarity that comes from watching them.
  • Chapter 60:
    • As Izuku and Nue are forced to work together to escape the Null Void, the whole time they devolve into childish antics. (Ex: name-calling, competition to see who can beat most monsters, etc.)
    • When Hisashi thinks that his wife would have killed him if Izuku died, the boy internally thinks that she may have drowned him with her tears by accident.
  • Chapter 61:
    • Izuku has reached the point where he's not even surprised when he gets the wrong alien.
  • Chapter 62:
    • Kraab mistakes All Might for a Tetramand who lost two arms, and Izuku has to cover his mouth to keep him quiet.
    • After showing up Bakugo in the Ability Attack Course thanks to the help of his newly unlocked Master Control, Izuku-as-Rath rubs it in Bakugo's face, who promptly starts making death threats before it devolves into a shouting match between the two.
    • Izuku's other shenanigans with the Master Control:
      • In the Energy Usage Center, a swarm of Buzzshocks mess around with the inators of a long-nosed pharmacist wearing a lab coat with a Drusselsteinian accent from the Tri-State Area, accidentally knocking them down like dominoes, to the man's dismay as he curses the "little electrical beings."
      • Ripjaws trying to scare away SFIT's slightly annoying lizard mascot, only to fail because the guy's a big fan of monstrous-looking heroes.
      • Melissa and Kyoka watching a Plasma Laser Cutter slice through layers of bricks, only for Diamondhead to squeeze in and see if the laser can cut him, much to their grief. Results? No. But it stung. A lot. Not to mention, Diamondhead gets an earful from Kyoka afterward.
      • Big Chill getting drawn by the bright colors of chemical compound orbs and attempts to touch one. Momo goes into "mom-mode" and tries to get him to stop, with Big Chill inching his finger closer every time she says no, annoying her. Then Shoto warns him that he better listen to her, and it seems like Big Chill decided to comply, only to poke the orb anyway when Momo and Shoto let their guard down, popping it and splattering them all over with gaseous pink dust. Then Big Chill phases into the ground to avoid a chewing out from the two.
    • Ochaco being fascinated by a kid's buddy robot who is soft like a marshmallow.

  • Chapter 65:
    • The chapter starts off with the teens having been told a mind-blowing truth, it seems like the group had been informed of all the stuff about aliens, and then Denki eventually breaks the tension by… complaining about the gag order regarding the recent incident at I-Island.
    • Hisashi is more afraid of lawyers than he is of supervillains, literally shaking in his boots as he thinks about them.
  • Chapter 67:
    • Remember those exercises Tiger had Izuku doing in canon? Well, now we have Rath doing it and after Tiger cat punches him, we're treated to the man cat and the cat man having a yelling match.
    • Aizawa comes up with a special training plan for Izuku's transformations namely having him fight teams of his peers who are promised a thirty-minute break from their training if they manage to beat him. It gives one flashback to when his worth in cavalry battle was announced.
    • When first challenged, Izuku turns into Upgrade to show off his power to reconfigure technology into anything he wants. Only problem? He forgot he’s in a forest, with little to upgrade. Though Aizawa helps him by supplying… a walkie-talkie.
    • During his match with Denki, Tokoyami, Kendo, and Reiko, Ghostfreak boasts about how they can't lay a finger on him, only for Dark Shadow to land a solid punch.
    • While it's a form of Dark Humor, the fact that Izuku finds Kendou being the first to apologize for almost killing him brings a chuckle to our hearts. It's a little concerning that he's the only one who finds that funny.
  • Chapter 69:
    • Mandalay’s challenge? Make them admit their most embarrassing secrets… and what we get is gold…
      • Ochaco steals some extras from the vending machines whenever she needs a snack. She also has been watching WWE during Ectoplasm’s lessons.
      • Bakugou has a thing for maids, given his reaction to the maid cafe Sero took him to sometime ago. He also has to begrudgingly whisper to Mandalay the respect he has for Izuku and Ochaco.
      • Izuku has been using the Omnitrix to prank Monoma all year. From messing with his exercise to blowing his umbrella away on rainy days, drawing on his face, to filling his shoes with goop, and sooooo much more. This also causes Bakugou to realize he was a part of the pranks Henzu pulled during Junior High. He's also crossdressed and has called Aizawa dad at least once.
      • The fact Mandalay is channelling the old man from scene 24.
    • When the Three Re-Takers finally make it up the mountain, they discover their cargo wagon… was filled with everyone’s dinner.

    • This gem:
Ochaco: Wooo!! Let's have a good time!!
Eijiro: No! You gotta be more selfish than that! Think that it's all about you!
Ochaco: Who's ready to get wasted?! I know I am!! Hahahahaha!!
      Eijiro: That's it!

  • Chapter 79: While the chapter was mostly serious, it still had it's fair share of funny moments.
    • Everyone's reaction to finding out about the existence of aliens was priceless.
    • When the Bakugo Rescue Squad find out about Mina's alien heritage. Tenya skeptically eyes Shoto as if wondering if he's an alien due to his dual Quirk. Shoto noticing this wasn't amused and made it clear. Panicked, Tenya began rapidly chopping the air with both his hands while apologizing with Kirishima asking if Tenya is an alien or a robot.
