- The Silver Shamrock commercial that appears throughout the film, as well as it's associated jingle. It plays like a parody of obnoxious commercials.
- When it's lampshaded by Dan muttering "It never fucking stops..."
- The Tam O'Shanter motel has a bunch of goofball weirdos (The Kupfers, Marge Guttman) introduced in ways more akin to a sitcom than a horror movie.
- Buddy Kupfer describing Conal Cochran's silly, sophomoric gag products - sticky toilet paper, a soft chainsaw, and "the dead dwarf guy." Crude humor, but it does give a bit of comic relief in an otherwise very serious, gruesome movie.
