Funny / Final Fantasy VII: Another Side

• Zack complaining about having to eat rations.
  Kunsel: Just eat it. You didn't complain during the war.
  Zack: Because it was food! At least I think it was.
• The entire sequence of Cloud disguised in drag. It gets funnier when "she" ends up naming Zack as "her" lover.
  • Bonus points for making Sephiroth laugh as well.
• Zack and Yuffie both using Puppy-Dog Eyes to convince Sephiroth to give everyone the night off at the Saucer.
• Yuffie's attempts at a Shipper on Deck for Sephiroth/Cissnei in the side-story Yuffie's Guide to Everything cause her to lock them in an empty room for three hours. They spend the entire time discussing ways to escape.
  • Describing Cid: "Cid does not smoke like a chimney. The chimney smokes like Cid."
• Sephiroth's Noodle Incident of getting drunk with Genesis has been explained in A Tale of Two SOLDIERS and they way Sephiroth narrates when he was drunk was absolutely hilarious: how he learned the alcohol drinks multiplied exponentially, how he wondered Genesis learn how to multiply himself as he saw more than one of him in his blurred visions, and of course, this:
  Well, that was interesting. Did the ground always move like this? It was probably an earthquake. He should probably go find Angeal to alert the men. Yes, that sounded like something he was supposed to do. After a quick nap. Maybe the earthquake would get tired and go away.
  • As for the drunk Genesis, not only he tells stories of the past that involve with Angeal being chased by an old lady with a cane and a toy poodle, but he even put a "KICK ME" sign on Angeal's back at the end of the second chapter.
• When they decide that one of the girls has to be sent undercover to Don Corneo's mansion. Cissnei volunteers being the one with the most experience in espionage, but Tifa says they need to make sure the girl sent gets picked by the Don. Zack agrees with her but because of different reasons:
  Zack: I mean, no offence Cissnei, you're cute and all, but Tifa's got-.
  Tifa: (clears her throat) Yes Zack? Tifa's got...?
  Zack: (gulps) Uh... talent. Tifa's got a lot of... talent?
• In "Yuffie's Guide to Everything", the chapter on Zack, where it describes how he and Cissnei were kinda not dating but went on vacation together where they got attacked by Genesis copies and the whole thing turned into a brawl, then Yuffie comments, "This sounds like every date I've ever been on."
• In Wutai, a pair of Shinra infantry find the Turks playing cards with Sephiroth, Cissnei and Vincent, all of whom are fugitives. Reno's comment on it: "Can't you see we're in the middle of an interrogation?"
• Yuffie's reaction, in Yuffie's Guide to Everything to finding out that Zack and Kunsel stopped a Wutai counter attack by blowing up a mountain!
  "Hurr, durr, this mountain is in the way, someone get me a bomb. I fix. ZACK SMASH". AAARGH. Alright, rant over.
• In Interlude 4, while at Zack's parents' house, Yuffie declares she and Aerith get the bed, then cheekily asks if Zack would rather switch. Aerith then shoots him a mischievous look that has him literally choking on his response, leading to Sephiroth pounding him on the back with a deadpan expression.
• While exploring the Nibelheim mansion, Yuffie suddenly screams as she sees something move and Seph goes to see what it is. A lab coat caught in a slight breeze.
  Sephiroth: Congratulations, Yuffie. You found the wardrobe.
  Yuffie: Oh. Um...I knew that. I was just testing you.
  Sepiroth: (...)
• Seph's reaction to Cloud appearing in the play at the Gold Saucer: "Pass the Popcorn."
