As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

  • In the segment starting with Carter driving the four of them, Alex is massively creeping Carter out. First Carter calls him a warlock, then the devil, then asks if he’s God.
  • During the opening scene, Devon Sawa (Alex) was told to pretend to be asleep. Despite the noise of the airport that they were filming in, he actually drifted off and slept for four hours. What makes this all the more funny is that they actually suspended filming for those four hours to let the actor sleep!
  • As terrifying as the premonition sequence is, there's something quite amusing about seeing a stereo fly out of the overhead storage and clock Tod on the back of the head. Of all the things going From Bad to Worse in the sequence, it's this that kills him!
  • Billy Hitchcock's Oh, Crap! moment when he sees the plane explode and ducks while the explosion breaks the glass.
    • Every time Billy gets the short end of the stick from Carter, he shouts "CARTER, YOU DICK!" in such a wimpy voice.
  • The scene in which Terry doesn't believe Alex about Death's design and breaks up with Carter for believing in Alex, then ironically, immediately gets killed by a bus for not believing in Alex.
  • While Ms. Lewton is dying with a knife in her chest, Alex tries to help by taking it out with his bare hand.
    • In a very dark way, Ms. Lewton's death in general, for just being so much overkill. In order: her computer monitor explodes after short-circuiting from vodka getting into its circuitry, with this having leaked from a mug Lewton accidentally cracked after putting it down onto the counter too hard; the explosion sends shards of glass into her throat, while starting a fire after it ignites a trail of alcohol on the floor; she tries to pull down a towel, but there's a knife on top of it that lands on her and stabs her; then Alex arrives just as an explosion makes a chair fall on the knife, pushing it deeper into her and finally killing her. But Death thinks it's not enough because then THE WHOLE HOUSE EXPLODES! It's almost surprising that Death didn't drop a meteor on the remains.
  • The part where Billy freaks out and tells Carter he'll stay as far away from him as possible after Alex saved Carter from the train because Carter was next and he was risking his own life, declaring that "he can go out on his own free will."
  • The end of the film, in a Black Comedy sort of way. Carter saves Alex from a falling neon theatre sign and says death is still after him. Alex informs Carter that since he saved him, it has skipped to someone else. Carter asks who's next. Alex stares past him as a falling sign loudly swings toward Carter, who makes a face that just screams "Are you FUCKING kidding me?!" as the sign is about to slam into him and the screen cuts to black.
    • For bonus points, the part of the sign most prominent in the scene says "180". Considering the tone of the scene before, it certainly did take a 180.
  • Bit of a real life example but during one scene, "Into The Void" is being played. Trent Reznor said that "The Fragile", the album said song is from, should not be listened to behind the wheel, or else you'd might crash. When the fact that that exact thing, a character dying behind the wheel while listening to said album, happens in the scene, his sole response was "No comment."
  • As Alex is trying to warn everyone about the disaster, a flight attendant tells him he'll remove him from the plane if he doesn't calm down. Alex is all too happy to oblige...
    "Fuck you, I'll remove myself!"
    • Billy gets lumped in with the survivors by arriving late just as Alex and Carter are fighting. He tries to protest, weakly wailing "I didn't fight with anyone". After this is met with no response, he turns around and says "damn". It's Seann William Scott's delivery that sells it.
    • Weird/funny, when Billy backs out of the jet bridge holding his ticket in front of him, it briefly looks like he’s holding a cell phone out recording video.
