General

  • Whenever a Servant is met or summoned, expect Romani to be mocked or made fun of by them. Getting no sympathy either from anybody.
Romani: "I can't even be nice to them anymore..."
Mash: "Doctor… you are embarrassing yourself right now."
  • As Dark Souls Servants come from a world where cultural references and phrases have no meaning, expect them to take some expressions or jokes literal. Or, to Ritsuka's regret, ignore them.
Solaire: (whispers)"Would it make us look like fools if we asked what a 'Walkie Talkie' was?"
Ash: "I find that whenever I hear words that I do not understand, it is normally better to ignore them completely."
  • Whenever Chaldea meets someone who's historically known as a man, but is actually a woman, they write the name down on a list. Comments are made on how history even managed this when some aren't even hiding their gender or dressed as men. Or barely dressed at all.
  • Chaldea has summoned many Berserkers that, while lucid, are also unhinged. Meaning that whenever they do meet a 'traditional Berserker', they can't help but find it amusing and slightly vexing that they cannot communicate with them.

     Singularity F
  • Upon being questioned on what Ash knew as a Servant, Ash simply comes off as no different from a Player starting a video game.
Olga: "Saber. What knowledge do you have of your summoning?"
Ash: "I'm a Saber. There are six other classes."
    Olga: "And?"
Ash: "...That's it." (Ash shrugs)"A little confusing...I apparently also have something called a 'Noble Phantasm'."
  • When told King Arthur can make a deadly massive explosion with their Noble Phantasm, Ash doesn't look worried. Because his home wasn't any better. Caster ** (Cu) quickly sums up Ash's home in one sentence.
Cu: ...You're home must be fucked up."
    Ash: "...Well...It's not great."
  • Ash gives a rather good speech to Ritsuka where even when facing the odds, one must face them regardless of what stands in your way. Both to achieve your goal and victory itself. With Ash conveniently cutting out the hundreds of deaths he met attempting such goals.
Ritsuka: "Yeah…" (Ritsuka nods) "Besides, it looks like it always worked out for you."
    Ash: "…"
Ritsuka: Saber?" (Ash looks away) "Saber what's wrong? Saber, why aren't you looking at me?"
  • By the end of the Fuyuki Singularity, a new Servant is called on to help. Siegward makes a rather abundant impression.
    Mash: "Senpai...did we...summon an Onion?"

     Singularity 2: The All-Consuming Empire
  • When Ash goes to explore a house that at first seems abandoned, he discovers that it's inhabited by giant spiders. He reacts to this very calmly as he soon jumps out the window cursing his mouth off before detonating the house with a Pyromancy.

     Singularity 4
  • While Ash turning on Chaldea and becoming a Beast makes for a grim atmosphere all around, there's a great level of levity to be had where Ritsuka revealing the truth that Ash was Gwynevere's son causes Sulyvahn to nearly pass out from laughing over the sheer Irony of the child Gwynevere raised as a sacrifice to extend the Age of Fire ultimately being the one to end it.

     By the Bonfire
  • Ash discovering mashed potatoes on accident. The reactions all around range from a nasty scolding from Tamamo Cat to traumatic fear from Gareth to laughter from Nobu.
