Murder aside, this is a comedy show:

Season 1

Episode 1

Episode 2

  • Rosé's special ability is called "Millennial" which lets her do "twice the work for half the pay-off". This means she can do a drawing challenge twice if she wants to, and Julia says she doesn't have to use it if she doesn't want to. Karina's response?
"Just gonna hold it in. Hold it in my heart...!"
  • Grendan and Till Bogan get along very well, to the point where Gyorik has to physically hold their faces just to try and shut them up long enough to do what they came here to do. It doesn't work, leading to quite possibly the best exchange in the entirety of the show:
    Till: How big is anything?
    Grendan: Woah!
    Rosé: WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?
  • York draws Sorin looking like a puppet who fell on a knife as his theory for how Sorin died.
  • Grendan drew Sorin caught in the middle of what he call a "Lady Duel". Both he and York refer to blood as "juice", to Rosé's annoyance.
  • Rosé drawing a dying Sorin, but forgetting she's supposed to be drawing him, well, dying and instead draws him as though he's on the cover of a romance novel.
Rosé: *having clearly forgotten* Oh yeah, he got killed!
  • Ina Yourfas pops out of nowhere and scares the team half to death more than once.
  • Everything about Pierce Steel.
  • The fact that apparently everyone in the B-squad just writes notes on their skin.

Episode 3

  • At the start of the episode it's revealed that Nathan, Jacob, and Karina all failed to notice Lotta was a tiefling with very obvious horns.
  • Julia refuses to break character, including when Jacob asks who's talking to them of Buzz and Don Jovi, and Julia answers as Don Jovi.
  • When tasked with drawing delicious food creatures, York simply draws himself flexing in a cooking pot.
  • Nathan/Grendan bursts into laughter when Don Jovi gives his name.

Episode 4

  • When Avis and Ogalvy take their masks off, Grendan immediately says he prefered the masks. This after he scolded York for asking if those heads were masks or not.

Episode 5

  • Julia saying "yousonofabitch" in a very strained whisper when prompted to name some bands, a question she was not prepared for. They improvise this as the name of an actual band, which is apparently Rosé's favourite.

Episode 6

  • Harper driving the Drawtectives up the wall by being very annoying.
  • York and Rosé using their abilities up in one go because the obnoxious Harper gave them a good prompt (York as a kitten). York's hatred of Harper beat out his desire to draw the picture, but Rosé thinks she's alright.
    • York refuses to do Harper's challenge because he hates her. Instead of doing the prompt, he writes "EAT MY BUTT" on the paper instead.
  • Letting them talk to Harper was Jancy getting revenge on the team for being annoying. Note how on the map, the backyard isn't even an actual labelled room until this part.
  • The group decides Grendan is the group's grandma, and that Jancy is their "dad-slash-ancestral ghost".

Episode 7

  • Julia drew an entire render of the Drawtectives and Jancy as Ducktales characters for a very brief gag in the opening.
    • She also remembered to put the full render of the York kitten in, with a jazzy number playing over rainbow text saying "I remembered!" (due to her forgetting to put it in the end of episode 6).

Episode 8

  • Julia drew a full picture of Rosé with a slice of pizza and sunglasses shouting "I'm walkin' 'ere!" which slides across the screen for only a second.
  • "York feet pics! York feet pics!" *cut to Julia listening to Jacob and Karina chanting, now muffled* "York feet pics! York feet pics! York feet pics!". Karina and Jacob then demand the viewers get "York feet pics" trending.

Season 2

  • The number of times Jacob tries to read something, then remembers York can't read.
  • Eugene adapting to the trio's chaos way better then Jancy did at first.
