  • The Justice Society interacting with the laptop computer left for them by Dr. Morrow. First, we have the Spectre geeking out over the computer's possibilities (although he calls it an "informatio-scope"). Then there's their unsettlement at the dancing baby screensaver, which only the Spectre is unbothered by. Finally, when it displays a "system error" message, they panic at the sight of the bomb symbol on the screen and the Spectre impulsively vaporizes it, to his visible disgruntlement.
  • The Justice Society, of all people, think "Dr. T.O. Morrow" is an obviously fake name. And then they find out it's real. Lampshaded when Jay Garrick observes on it to Dr. Mid-Nite, who admits he was waiting for the Flash to rub it in.
  • The Justice Society and the Justice League sharing tea and biscuits, trying to make nice and pretending that the Society weren't on the verge of torturing the Martian Manhunter beforehand. Highlights are the two versions of The Atom palling around (which the younger realizes is because the older is so glad to finally have someone around who's shorter than he is), Wonder Woman and Hawk Girl talking about going solo, and Hourman commenting that it must be strange to work with an alien... to Superman.
  • The Spectre's disappointment that his "informatio-scope" is called simply "computer".
  • Dr. Morrow traveling through time to deliver a microwave oven to Bethesda Naval Hospital in 1941 to cure his cold. The kicker is how he literally holds the base Admiral at gunpoint as he microwaves a cold cup of coffee, then orders the Admiral to touch it. In the span of one panel, the Admiral goes from defiant outrage at being held at gunpoint to intrigued curiosity at how Dr. Morrow did that.
