- Baldwin of Boulogne (before he became King Baldwin I of Jerusalem) develops an obsession with eating human flesh after lacking supplies in so many sieges. In The Stinger, he asks where the stage manager is after saying he's starting to get hungry.
- In the Creative Closing Credits, the service of the Altaïr expy is required to... cut adhesive strip.
Eleanor & Consequences - The Second Crusade:
- Louis VII whipping himself out of guilt for experiencing even the slightest bit of pleasure.
- The reactions of Louis VII and Bernard of Clairvaux after Eleanor of Aquitaine pulled off a Magnificent Bastard move on them by moving to England and marrying Henry Plantagenet. Both end up saying "What a bitch!", although Bernard of Clairvaux laughs it off.
From Alexandria to Actium:
- Cleopatra VII letting a sigh out after explaining that her royal epithet "Philopator" means "father-loving".
- Octavius constantly justifying his inability to directly command military troops and initial failures with "I was sick...".
Richard the Lionheart and the Third Crusade:
- The post-credits scene of the episode shows the recumbent sarcophagi of Richard the Lionheart, Eleanor of Aquitaine and Henry the Second at the abbey of Notre-Dame de Fontevraud, with the latter two insulting each other in the afterlife.Henry II's grave: Bitch!
