Funny / Cindy's Story

• Anytime Trina speaks. She's bound to say something so stupid, it's hilarious. Examples:
  • "No, I will not go on a date with you!"
  • "A test?" -gasp- "I didn't study!"
  • "So Cindy's an alien?!"
  • "I've got a squash, and I'm not afraid to use it!"
    • "Phew! I was afraid to use it."
• Celebi is a living, breathing Funny Moment. She's a downright insane, snarky, and brilliant mastermind of a Legendary with no shortage of quips and funny moments.
• The prank Celebi pulled on Allison. She usually rides around in Allison's shoulderbag, so one time, Celebi decided to stay behind to talk to Cindy. She left an onion in the trainer's bag. Allison lampshades her stupidity:
  Allison: "I can't believe I fell for that!"
• Alyssa chasing a Sentret that stole her food. Even Cindy thought it was funny.
• The play the other Pokemon put together to cheer Cindy and Ty up after the Quiltuplets were given away to trainers. Sadly, it only made Cindy even more upset.
  • Highlights of said play include:
    • Alyssa freaking out over Donphan singing a song. Not at his singing; at the song.
    • Several Pokémon mocking Team Rocket and Team Vortex.
    • Quinn and Jamie doing a parody of a skit of The Amanda Show.
    • Charlie, and his bad parody of The Godfather.
    • Bulbasaur being chased by Heracross.
    • The Alchemutts messing up their lines; plus, Kidd's magnet.
    • A "Spray n' Scape" ad.
    • Costumed Pokémon doing the can-can.
    • Muerto the Dead Team Vortex Grunt
• Any encounter that Celebi has with a Beedrill. It's not what you think...
  • Her "sword" fight with one. She's holding a stick, and he's holding a pen!
  • "I don't want your autograph anymore!
• Joey watching Emma the Staticbee fighting on television. When she wins her match, he gets so caught up in his excitement, he shouts, "MARRY ME!" Cue Chelsea and Cinnamon in the doorway.
• Cindy spitting on Vibora's hair. Much worse than what Cinnamon accidentally did to it earlier.
• Celebi's introduction to Sombra
• Quinn's reaction to Jamie asking him to a dance. He blasts off a great height using Eruption; he does this in excitement.
• "THAT WAS MY FATHER!"
• When politician Anwir Malus argues with Chelsea over "Semis" (Semi-Legendaries), Chelsea suddenly shouts, "Look, a Semi! Anwir turns around... and sees a Semi Truck.
  • Then, right after Chelsea leaves, he and Cinnamon have a staring contest... which she interrupts with a roar to frighten him. He screams like a little girl.
• The beginning of the guys vs. girls snowball fight, where Quinn and Artemis argue about strategy, and Charlie and Kidd argue about the number eight. They stop when they notice Trina stealing their snow fort. Trina's words are the crown jewel of the scene:
  Quinn: Trina.......what are you doing?
  Trina: What does it look like I'm doing? I'm abducting your fort!
  Charlie: Why?
  Trina: Because I'm going to serve snow cones!
  • Then right after, she takes a snowball to the chest and begins to dramatically bemoan her "death."
• Celebi, once freed from a Power-Cancelling Orb, proceeds to heal Ty's shoulder injury... with these lame puns:
  "It's healing time!"
  "CELEBI SMASH!...the pain in your shoulder!"
  "I like superheroes bub. Live with it."
  "And with great power comes great—"
  • The icing on the cake? Ty's response:
  Celebi: Where are you going?!
  Ty: Insane if I don't leave!
• Sir Cuddly Boo.
  • MY NAME IS BLAZE!
• The giant snowball in the middle of the summer. Cue confused reactions from both human and Pokémon alike.
  • "Cool, the world's biggest game of pinball!"
• To this day, nobody knows just how Hailey climbed a tree. Keep in mind that she's a Fakemon called Whirlpup, which is a Water-Type DOG.
• Amber once started a stampede on accident. And then everybody promptly forgets about it until the end of the chapter.
• It is Trina's destiny to flip over every rock in the vicinity. And then, the "Simultaneous Facetruck Sequence" afterward.
• "Cindamon's" reaction to the fusion stone actually having worked! And on none other than her split selves: Cindy and Cinnamon.
  • And when she's at war with herself on how to treat Hailey, who is just plain nervous and confused.
• Celebi once dropped a walkie-talkie into a Vulcanrod's bowl of noodles.
• Ash's Bayleef drops a walkie-talkie... and that switches it to a radio setting and starts playing mariachi music. As she frantically tries to turn it off, other kinds of music play, like disco, western, and the Meow Mix theme.
  • And Ash's Totodile is stated to be busy with some weird antics, implied to be dancing. Bayleef is not amused.
  • Neither is Cindy, who even though she has no idea that Bayleef and Totodile are around, she can hear the music, and angrily asks them to settle on a station by yelling in no general direction.
  • And then it switches to Christmas music. Cindy is even less amused.
• While spying on Cindy and Ash's Quilava, Cinnamon discovers right after the food has been swiped that Trina had been standing behind her the whole time. Cinnamon is hilariously unpleased with that.
  • "What's with that look? Over."
• The discovery that Cinnamon evolved in her sleep. Cindy found it hilarious.
• Cindy's pregnancy. To clarify, it involved a baby formula fight, her random insane moments, unintentionally bursting out laughing, and waddling. Yes, waddling!
• The Hallway of Confusing Doors.
  • Especially when Cindy and Quinn meet Majin Buu, Excalibur, and Cyndaquil!Cindy.
• Everybody's ever-growing annoyance with Kidd the Umbreon.
  • Hailey, for example, because they share a trainer, and is frequently annoyed with his Obsessively Organized Tendencies.
  • Cindy, since he keeps picking on her for her scar.
  • Quinn, because Kidd kept complaining about Cindy! Also, along with Hailey, he shares a trainer with him...
• Quinn falls asleep in Charlie's breakfast.
• Trina: *hauls boulder above head* "Would they hide under a rock like this?"
  • Cinnamon: "Trina! They'd be crushed by a rock that big!"
• Alyssa's Butterfree kicking the crap out of a flock of Spearow. Doubles as a Moment of Awesome.
• Quinn and Buzz the Pachirisu engage in the ULTAMITE BATTLE OF... Rock, Paper, Scissors?
  • Alyssa questions why they're doing it.
• Quinn and Celebi trying to deactivate the Mind Control computer. Funny moments include:
  Celebi: There's the machinamabob!
  Quinn: Colorful language.
  • The clam chowder that suddenly pops out when Quinn gets the password wrong.
  Quinn: Why does Dr. Tortilla install the strangest security systems?
  • Both end up a mess as a result of that security system.
  Celebi: And we’ve faced clam chowder, pies, robot ninjas, a disco ball, zombies, rap music, smelly socks, toenails, rabid Bunearies, Majin Buu, Excalibur, ramen noodles, big kissy lips, an annoying laughing sea sponge, Houndour drool, snow, nacho cheese, a party cannon, chocolate, a chocolate-loving fish, and so much more…
  • Celebi time-travelling to receive the password, Quinn guessing that Celebi was going to come back all clean, and it turns out he was right. When he points out how squeaky clean she is, Celebi just moves to hear the squeaky noises that her joints make.
  • And when Celebi reveals the password ("password"), Quinn is just freaking out on the inside, while calmly entering the password. And then, when an unexpected obstacle comes up, he just snaps and smashes the computer.
• Minnie meets Copper. She's just so excited to meet another Shiny Pokémon she jumps on him and suggests starting a Shiny Club!
• Nearly everything Keegan does.
  • Including the exploding picnic and the picnickers' reaction. They all shout in surprise... except for Spock the Coalgnaw, who ironically was the dirtiest. Then Minnie calls it a "giggling explosion."
