Ink on back to the funky-fresh main Chuggaaconroy funny page HERE.

  • General:
    • Chugga's in-game fashion sense. Explanation
    • Chugga repeatedly joking (or not...) that the Inklings are the real villains.
    • Chugga's pre-intro jokes.
    • Chugga's waifuism towards Marie.
    • Chugga begins a new movement: to replace the term "squid-bagging" (Splatoon's version of teabagging) with the much more punnily appropriate "seabagging".
    • Chugga doing horribly with weapons he's good at, and amazing with weapons he sucks at.
    • Occasionally, the captions on his ability recommendations during the weapon bios, especially with Special Charge Up and Special Duration Up for weapons with the Kraken special.
      • Especially if it has the Kraken or it's a bad weapon.
    • The frequent recommendations of Damage Up lead to an Audience Participation gag.
    • It's subtle, but he says nothing about the obvious identities of Agents 1 and 2 until the game itself drops hints.
    • Chugga trying to pronounce the in-game Squidinese, and apologizing for not being fluent in Inklish.
    • Octobombers being killed before Chugga has the chance to mention them.
    • Chugga's anger at anyone who appears to be AFK, generally resorting to spamming the voice commands in frustration.
  • Episode 1:
    • After Chugga goes ridiculously Jive Turkey, MasaeAnela can be heard saying "stop yourself".
    • This gem: "Or we could be a naughty little boy and go fool around with the creepy old man. I think we're going to do just that by going into his manhole. (Beat) Don't read too much into that."
      • Moments later, after an offscreen costume change during Cap'n Cuttlefish's monologue: "I gotta say, for an old man that was standing, like, five feet away from me, your ability to dress me without me even noticing is quite impressive. Again, don't read too far into it."
    • Perhaps as a nod to the "No Coin Left Behind" movement he started in Luigi's Mansion (and the popups relating to him abandoning multiple coins in its sequel), when he ignores a Power Egg behind a wall early in the first level, "EGG" appears in flashing letters over the Power Egg in question.
    • At the end slate of the video, Chugga shows off several Miiverse posts from the game's community which consists of detailed artwork drawn in Miiverse, except the final post which is literally just the word "MEMES" written in big letters.
  • Episode 2:
    • Chugga doing Jelonzo's voice, and he himself says that he made Jelonzo have "A crossbreed of a French accent, a Japanese accent and Count Dracula".
    • Chugga shows off how the Sticky Bomb can stick on any surface, the montage doesn't become hilarious until Chugga throws one into the water, at which point the music just suddenly stops, and Inkling!Chugga just turns towards the screen.
    • An It Makes Sense in Context example but Chugga states that trees are a squid's natural born enemy and prefaces it as a Biology lesson while explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the Tentatek Splatter Shot.
    • Chugga lampshading the fact that Sheldon more closely resembles a Minion than he does a horseshoe crab.
  • Episode 3:
    • The episode opens with Chugga in squid form lounging on a camping bench.
    • Chugga not knowing the location of the Sunken Scroll, growing increasingly paranoid of missing it, only to find it on top of a very visible platform.
Chugga: If that box up there is the collectible, I'm gonna be ashamed of myself for not knowing-
      (breaks box, revealing the collectible)
      (Beat)
Chugga: As I was saying, here is the Sunken Scroll for this stage!
    • While preparing for the daily matches, Chugga finds a Miiverse post declaring one's love for Moray Towers. He decides to Yeah it so he can immediately remove the Yeah... only to discover that Splatoon doesn't allow you to un-Yeah posts from inside the game. This turns out to curse him, as the map rotation that day includes Moray Towers.
    • When discussing the CoroCoro Splat Roller, Chugga mocks CoroCoro for how its news always gets leaked a week before each issue is released and wonders how the magazine keeps going. He then reveals that the weapon in question was revealed in a CoroCoro leak, and says the only way the weapon could be more appropriate is if its ink tank leaked before the battle even started.
  • Episode 4:
    • Chugga's disdain towards the Custom Splattershot Jr., the weapon of the day. He can't go more than a few sentences without insulting it.
    • The first match at Blackbelly Skatepark goes horribly for Chugga's team, leading to several great moments. A team-up between Chugga and a roller gets abruptly cut off, Chugga resorts to destroying Sprinklers due to his inability to attack directly, he rapidly spams the "C'mon!" command when a player goes idle, and the final results show that the other team covered 50% more of the map. The kicker is when Chugga discovers that there was a player using the standard Splattershot Jr. on his team… who disconnected.
  • Episode 5:
Chugga: In time, eventually it was pointed out to me that-
throws Splash Wall, which hits a wall and sticks several feet above the ground
Chugga: Wow, that Splash Wall was atrocious. (dramatic voice) Yes, it was prophesized by my friends that I would lay down that Splash Wall, and do a terrible job!
  • Episode 6:
    • When on his "newbie" account, Chugga accidentally shifts into Sheldon's store, which causes him to list off all the weapons Chugga can buy at this point. Chugga cuts him off by exiting the game.
    • Chugga applies lyrics to the Inkling-speak in "Kraken Up", which plays during his Saltspray Rig match.
      TELL ME SOME MORE
      WHY CAN'T YOU SEE?
      CLOSING THE DOOOOOOOR
  • Episode 7:
    • Chugga tries to dramatically activate his Inkling Squid amiibo (which he later reveals is customized to be a Kraken)... only for it to not work at all. He's forced to cut away and get his other, non-custom one.
    • Chugga messing around during Kraken challenges, including mocking Squeegees and pushing an Octarian turret into the abyss.
    • It's tough to catch, but while Chugga is showing parts of an offscreen match, he gets killed by someone with an absurd amount of run speed boosts.
  • Episode 8:
    • The intro for this video.
Chugga: Once a man looked to the skies with a dream held deep within him. A shooting star passed by soon afterward, and the man wished with all of his heart that his greatest dream would become a reality. That was what allowed to transpire here today. And now that man says to you: [tilts down to reveal that the ground is covered in yellow ink] "WELCOME TO CHEESE LAND! We have many great attractions! In addition to all this cheese that shall consume all, we have this giant wedge of cheese that you can ride as a ramp! People will want to pay big bucks to visit this place! I'll be rich, I say!"
    • The first two matches on Museum D'Alfonsino gives Chugga particularly bad teammates, ranging from ones who just spam signals and shoot in random directions to those who just idle and do nothing until the game disconnects them. The third match more than makes up for it, giving him a 0.1% win.
    • 'Yes! Cancelled his special! Cancered his special!'
    • Chugga observing that if the Soda Slosher happens to be throwing yellow ink, it looks rather… inappropriate.
  • Episode 9:
    • Chugga treating a hot air balloon as absolutely terrifying.
    • Partway though the level, after Chugga shows off how you can ride Spreaders to reach the underside of platforms, gets distracted by a bingo wheel and completely misses the Sunken Scroll box. This is after he complains about the game not offering a good reward for doing so.
Chugga: (late in the level) I'm checking for that Sunken Scroll, I know there's gonna be one!
Post-Video Chugga: (via on-screen text) ... This hurts.
    • Chugga's two Tempting Fate moments, both with perfect comedic timing.
  • Episode 12:
    • This time, he covers Octo Valley in Pepto-Bismol instead of cheese.
    • People have been telling Chugga that he has been pronouncing Museum d'Alfonsino wrong. The whole time, he thought the "d" was a separate syllable because:
      Bill Trinen: "Museum d-Alfonsino".
      Chugga: Thanks Bill.
    • When Chugga mentions 'becoming a square', the inkrail he is riding becomes square.note
  • Episode 13:
    • Chugga's daily matches are cut off by the map transition, as he forgot about Daylight Saving Time. He rants about DST for a good part of the next match.
  • Episode 14:
    • Chugga gives a ridiculous accent of some description to ToxicWaste, his Inkling Girl amiibo. He says it's a Scottish accent; most of the comments think it is a Swedish accent.
    • For a weapon he really doesn't like, Chugga manages to fit in a lot of good jokes in the Inkbrush bio.
      • He describes the ultimate way to humiliate a Splatoon player: damaging them a lot, then killing them by running them over with an Inkbrush for 20 damage (Inklings have 100 health). No matter how moral you are, you're required to seabag after pulling it off.
      • There's a long Beat before he remembers to introduce the Inkbrush's subweapon, due to being baffled at how the Inkbrush cannot turn left effectively.
      • He pulls off an Unflinching Walk with the Ink Mine, complete with shades.
  • Episode 15:
    • Chugga gets so distracted with gushing over the Zink Mini Splatling that he almost turns off the recording and forgets to discuss the Refurbished Mini Splatling.
    • "Hold onto your tentacles, it's Inkopolis News time!"
    • We finally see which Mii he uses when recording. What is it? Wobbuffet.
  • Episode 16:
    • Chugga starts the video in squid form in the plaza balancing on a pole.
    • Chugga's misadventures in Inkvisible Avenues' "Limited Ink" amiibo Challenge.
      • His first runthrough has him run out of ink tanks at the final stretch, and he gets very worried, especially after being splatted several times. He is relieved to discover that the tanks listed are only "reserve" tanks, and he still has plenty left... but an Octarian proceeds to splat him on his last life, so it didn't even matter.
      • In the first attempt, Chugga ignored a series of small boxes at the end of the stage because he thought he was running out of ink. When he repeats the stage, he decides to break them open, and discovers that the middle box contained armor, which likely would've saved him from having to repeat the stage. The irony is not lost on Chugga.
      • Repeating the level, Chugga makes it to the end with a sliver of ink left. He pops the Zapfish's cage open, and turns around to bask in his victory. This is when Chugga discovers that, it the Zapfish isn't grabbed quickly enough, the barrier respawns. He panics and begins shooting the cage again, only to run out of ink when the Zapfish is freed.
    • On the Squid Sisters' commentary on Mahi-Mahi Resort, we get this gem from Chugga:
Chugga: I guess maybe it doesn't actually kill them...? So maybe that grin isn't as mean and menacing as it looks? Uh, let's, let's not ruin the waifu.
  • Episode 17:
    • Chugga takes time to point out a Miiverse post positioned next to Judd. Why? The post was asking where to find Sea Snails.
    • Chugga express his love for Flounder Heights after getting it a 2nd time, and after losing, he still says he can't get mad at the map... then he gets it a third time and loses on it again.
      Chugga: Resentment slowly growing...
  • Episode 18:
    • Chugga swimming right into an Inkstrike behind him that was just barely visible on screen, only realizing what's happened when he's splatted.
  • Episode 19:
    • MasaeAnela introduces herself as "Local Multiplayer Bot"... forgetting to introduce herself for real until Chugga brings it up.
    • Chugga introduces the official, Nintendo-endorsed method of local multiplayer for the player not using the GamePad: A Wii Remote manually fastened to the back of a Wii U Pro Controller. Chugga shows off the specialized controller in an image.
Masae: Official. Solution. (Chugga laughs) Guess what monstrosity I'm using. Thanks, Emile.
Chugga: You know, I offered to cut the ends of the zip ties off, but-
Masae: It's the principle of the matter!
Chugga: You just wanna use a worse controller so you can complain more about it.
      Masae: Nooooo, maybeeeee, nooooooo...
Chugga: You sound like a racecar!
      Masae: (imitaing a racecar) Rrrrrrr...
    • Chugga calling Masae someone who "could be platonically described as a friend". He quickly backtracked and said he meant "peripherally". Shippers everywhere freaked out anyways.
  • Episode 20:
    • The "I'm Back!" from Masae.
    • Chugga lets loose his worst puns on Masae.
Masae: (on her Inkling's outfit) I look like such a scrub...
Chugga: So you're playing the Squiffer?
      Masae: NO!
Chugga: I don't mean the Squiffer's a bad weapon, but I mean the Squiffer is cleaning supplies, so you know, “scrub”…
Masae: I know what you were saying! I’m shooting down your bad jokes!
Chugga: Shooting down my bad jokes?
      Masae: STOOOOOOOP!
Chugga: Hey, hey hey, hey, while I’m at it: when an Inkling girl gets pregnant, where is the fetus on the body? WOMBY!
(six full seconds of dead silence follow before Masae proceeds to describing her equipment)
    • Chugga notices the last two squad members' ranks.
Chugga: Man, that last squad is some serious "BS"...
      Masae: OH MY GOD!!!
    • Chugga bringing up another popular shooting game:
Chugga: I have had so many days when I just do not wanna deal with Tower Control, but all the time, "Tower Control for these four hours, and then Tower Control for the next four hours", and...ugh...
Masae: That's when you know the universe is telling you to play Tower Control.
      • Masae then calls him out on this comment, since he doesn't even play Overwatch.
  • Episode 21:
    • Chugga's wonderfulnote  vocal rendition of the 'guitar' solo from Splattack.
    • When Agent 1 and 2 are introduced, Agent 1 speaks backwards. Context
    • Chugga gets infuriated at the game after he does some offscreen practice matches. The reason? He was about to collect his coin reward when Inkopolis News stopped him for the map rotation (which resets the streak counter) mere steps away from Judd.
    • Chugga notes in his foray into Tower Control that he is just one knock-out from hitting the game's Level Cap of 50 and might actually show it off in the video. Sure enough, after his first match at Blackbelly Skatepark he scores eight points, putting him… one point shy of the cap. He still gets the cap anyway in the next Blackbelly match. By gaining a single point for surviving over a minute in a Curb-Stomp Battle against him.
    • "Hear my battle cry!... I has a bucket."
    • Chugga talks a bit about how aggressive Tower Control players are during his Kelp Dome match. His point is immediately proven when no less than six Splat Bombs fly towards him, rendering him speechless while he respawns.
    • Chugga signs off the video as usual, but before the end slate pops up, a full clip of the aforementioned news interruption plays, with Chugga quipping over it.
Chugga: I guess you could say that was inkonvenient!
  • Episode 22:
    • Chugga's intro joke (him pretending to be an Inkrail "giving birth" to a squid) is so stupid that he breaks down in the middle of it and gives up.
    • The seabagging Octoling. Speaking of Octolings, there's Chugga's bewilderment at Agent 1 pointing out an Octoling ambush before the ambushers spawn in.
    • When Chugga tells the web address for SplatNet he shouts out the word "NET".
  • Episode 23:
    • Chugga thinks using a bomb to activate an inkrail would make him a "rich asshole", but he realizes the analogy has little standing.
    • Chugga can't believe his "feature of the day" is the game's Loading Screen.
      • When discussing the loading screen, he says that he usually spots a new detail every time he sees it… and then notices a logo on a pennant for the first time and bursts out laughing because of it.
    • Chugga points out that all of the Inkopolis News banter is Callie asking things of Marie.
    • Chugga's girly squeal upon seeing an adorable Miiverse post of Judd.
    • Chugga says Saltspray Rig is aptly named, since its symmetrical layout makes it "rigged"note  and people get "salty" about it.
  • Episode 24:
    • The weapon of the day is the Luna Blaster Neo, which Chugga says he's terrible with, though a potential guest said he was fine with the regular blaster. He obtains his first "So Hawt" win streak of the LP while using it, and says that the guest was right.
Chugga: I promise I'm bad with this weapon, guys.
    • This is also saw the return of "The Incident". Of the 9 matches Chugga played in Saltspray Rig to get to Blackbelly Skatepark, 8 of them are lost. Why? He forgot to hit "record" again. Mood Whiplash indeed from the weapon selection screen to the transition to Saltspray Rig.
  • Episode 25:
    • The fact that Chugga's planning makes it that he managed to get to play Bluefin Depot twice in the single player before getting to be played once in mutiplayer.
    • Chugga getting distracted because the ink colors for this stage are the same as the striped shirt that the main character of Undertale wears.
    • Discussing the Marie fandom: Anything positive she says is good, anything negative she says is good, too.
    • Chugga's struggle to find the Sunken Scroll, checking every platform and corner, seeing if it's behind the map, and checking if he has to fall through a grate, after which he spots the platform for which it is necessary to do so.
    • Chugga talking about the .96 Gal Deco, introducing it in a lavish voice, and having his Inkling walk slowly like he's on a fashion walk with sun glasses. The description describes the gun as "a very special gal".
    • Chugga manages to splat a far-off foe with a Sprinkler, which text points out while he's splatting another player:
      THEIR CONFIDENCE DIED.
  • Episode 26:
    • Bob the Octoball, who fell out of the area he was supposed to be fought in into the center of Urchin Underpass in the single-player stage. He proceeded to bounce around maniacally, amusing Chugga to no end. He tried to adopt him and bring him through the rest of the stage, but Bob kept going backwards and eventually got stuck behind an Invisible Wall.
    • Chugga points out the game stealing his puns.
    • Chugga opens up the Octobrush bio with his rendition of Bob Ross.
Chugga: Well hey, welcome back. Ready to do a fantastic painting with us? Okay, let's get started. So often, we fear this big 2-inch brush, but it'll do wonderful, wonderful things for you that'll make you just so happy. I hope when you see your enemies, you'll beat the devil out of them.
    • Chugga's description of the Octobrush as the Inkbrush's more powerful longer range cousin, then states that the Inkbrush doesn't like their cousin visiting not because said cousin is awkward, but because Octobrush is that Straight-A student who cleans their room without being asked, and that Inkbrush's parents always compares them and ask "Why can't you be like that?", i.e. the type that shows you up at everything without even trying.
    • Chugga is once again foiled by numbers when when he finishes a ranked match and is one point away from S-rank. The game's ironic sense of humor continues, as Chugga proceeds to hit S-rank on Moray Towers (a map he dislikes) with the Octobrush Noveau (part of a weapon class he dislikes).
  • Episode 27:
    • Chugga completely flubbing his jump towards the boss kettle. Three times.
    • In a desperate attempt to stay afloat with the New Squiffer, Chugga tries to convince another player to look in the ink for "candy" (his Ink Mines).
    • Chugga does so bad with the New Squiffer that Judd indirectly tells him to go back to training with it.
    • "Octarians, your department of transportation was your greatest undoing!"
  • Episode 28:
    • Chugga's groan of frustration upon an opponent activating their Bubbler right as he was about to ram them as a Kraken (multiple times in the same match) is quite funny.
      • He loses that match roughly 90% to 10%.
      • He's clearly salty about this even after winning his next match:
Chugga: Judd has been on-point lately with saying relevant things to what we've been doing. So, what are you going to say? *imitating Judd* "Your teammates are very impurrtant! If they suck, you're going to die a horrible death!"
  • Episode 29:
    • Chugga accidentally causes an Octotrooper to run off a cliff. He proceeds to repeatedly attempt to make it happen again.
      • Then Chugga dies and has to repeat that segment. The exact same Octotrooper ends up doing the same thing again!
    • When he initially tries to show off Squid Racer, he has trouble finding it, only to realize he's playing on the wrong save file.
  • Episode 30:
    • Chugga begins the episode by falling off an inkrail into a bottomless cliff.
    • Chugga wastes several Splat Bombs trying to hit an Octotrooper on a faraway ledge, only for them to bounce off the end. He tries again when he sees some dormant Octoballs on a nearby platform, and also fails. Then he just Inkzookas them.
    • Despite Chugga not performing well, Judd gives him a super sea snail anyway note . Chugga takes it as Judd handing it to him ironically. Chugga proceeds to read Judd's dialogue (explaining very basic mechanics, no less) with a very sarcastic tone.
  • Episode 31:
    • Chugga attempts to kill an Octotrooper with his newly upgraded Splat Bombs… only for the bombs to repeatedly bounce off the enemy into the bottomless abyss in front of him at every attempt, confusing both Chugga and the Octotrooper.
  • Episode 32:
    • He begins the episode speaking in a high squeaky Elmo-type voice because his Inkling is shrunken down inside an ink rail. He starts to use his normal voice after he moves across the rail and gets bigger.
    • Chugga gets caught off-guard by a screen displaying a Miiverse post that's simply a scrawled "LOL". He finds this hilarious.
    • He comes across a Miiverse post written in a foreign language and assumes it's a racial slur. Then he apologizes for not being able to speak Spanish — and apologizes for that in case it's actually Italian or Portuguese… it's the latter, according to a comment on that video. And it translates to "fun and happiness."
  • Episode 33:
    • In a practice game, Chugga was put into a team where it was entirely composed of chargers. Three of them, including himself, were using an E-Liter.
    • Chugga tries to kill a Splat Roller Inkling passing by. Not only does he miss twice, but the Inkling completely ignores him and runs away from him while inking turf. Right when Chugga was about to shoot her when she was at the edge of the map, she jumps off the edge and kills herself.
    • Chugga winning both matches, to his complete surprise. Especially since he was terrible.
  • Bonus Episode 2:
    • The video starts with Chugga steadily creeping towards an unsuspecting Jellyfish, only to end with Chugga saying this in a hilariously creepy fashion:
Chugga: Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. I must have your squish.
    • In a meta-sense, this moment got fanart by the time of the very next episode.
  • Last Episode:
    • Apparently, Chugga completely forgot that Squidmas is a canon thing in the Splatoon universe.
    • Chugga takes a little longer than usual to splat DJ Octavio. It turns out, he faceplants into the floor if you take too long to splat him.
    • The Stinger. Chuggaa reads a in-universe sign for a brand. He reads it as, "Puke?"
  • Meta:
    • Chugga lampshades the fact that the Nintendo Switch reveal (and footage of the Splatoon game on the Switch) somehow beat him to announcing the Let's Play.
    • The console list for Splatoon on Chugga's YouTube page was "Wii U/Umm... NS?" before that aforementioned footage was confirmed to be Splatoon 2 rather than a port.
    • The World of Pun combined with our Pungeon Master. This is gonna be fun. Chugga lampshades this heavily in Episode 23.
