Return to the main Chuggaaconroy Funny Moments index here.
A lot of funny moments can be found here (Warning, it's over three hours long!), but for specific examples:
- Running Gags:
- His consistent poor marks on time in battles frequently elicit a response of "What do you mean I did badly on time?" or some variant thereof, quickly veering into Overused Running Gag territory (which he lampshades after a while).
- Episode 1:
- "By Emile-Logic, the Wii is apparently made by Sony!"
- "Just like in The Legend of Zelda: IT'S OUR MORTAL ENEMY, POTTERY!"
- "IT'S THE PUDDLE OF HEAVENS!"
- Episode 2:
- He remarks on the unfortunate placement of a speech balloon tail: "This guy's talking out of his ass. Literally."
- Episode 4:
- The episode has these Chugga quotes on display - "Freaking!" "Thing!" "Stuff!" "Kind of!", all made funny by his nonchalant tone.
- Episode 7:
- The ending. Like Chugga said, "Mr. Orange was breakdancing before breakdancing was breakdancing."
- Episode 10:
- From the start of the episode (in response to people thinking Sleepy was based on Yogi Bear, not Totoro... which is something Chugga had explained):Guys? I hate to break it you, but Yogi Bear is not part of Japanese Mythology.
- Chugga's reaction to the collapsing bridge segment in Tsuta Ruins. This looks like a very sturdy stone bridge, there'd be no reason at all for me to hurry across this, so let's just take our time...
(Issun's Sneeze of Doom causes the bridge to start falling apart.)
Geez, Issun! God! Man, who knew that these ruins were made entirely out of graham crackers? - Chugga's confused response to Blockhead saying, "I guard this place so that all shall pass!" He starts to say that doesn't make any sense before pressing the Z button. Blockhead is self-aware of his blunder and corrects himself to "None shall pass!", and Chugga becomes annoyed at his own premature judgment.
- From the start of the episode (in response to people thinking Sleepy was based on Yogi Bear, not Totoro... which is something Chugga had explained):
- Episode 13:
- In the previous episode, during his fight against the Spider Queen, Chugga comes within a single hit's worth of defeating her before her flower spits him back out. Cue Waka chastising him for his "clumsy performance" and a slightly annoyed "shut up" from Chugga.
- Episode 14:
- Chugga remarks that the glowy effect on the save points looks really cool, but "It's kinda ruined by the fact that I have a golden sombrero on my back."
- Amaterasu knows wolf kung-fu!
- Episode 20:
- "I am the master of some dog balls! Yay! Let's play fetch!"
- Episode 23:
- The previous episode had Chugga beat Crimson Helm with minimal effort. After the "To Be Continued" concludes, he gets perfect on both time and damage, causing him to celebrate.YES! PERFECT! Suck it, Crimson Helm! That is what you get for being such a crappy boss! The only boss so far who didn't get a "Whaddya mean I did badly on time?!"

- Episode 24:
- There's a lot of tension outside the Moon Cave - the lair of Orochi, the boss the entire game up to that point has been building up to. After Amaterasu and Issun go in, we see Susano at the entrance...except the graphics covering Susano's ass are glitching and see-through. Made even funnier when just before that, Waka gave the prophecy of "Look! The moon! The moon came out!"Chugga: Even your prophecies are fruity!
- It actually properly happens with Nagi during the trip to the past, when Chugga fails to slice off all of True Orochi's heads the first time around.
- When Chugga gets the Mask needed to infiltrate the Moon Cave, he points out you can draw anything on it for your disguise. Anything. He then uses the Awesomeface. Yes. THAT Awesomeface. Behold. Even Chugga himself has trouble taking Amaterasu seriously with it on!

- Episode 58:
- Chugga’s failed attempt to use Thunderbolt:*facing a demon scroll*And just because I have to get it out of my system, HEY, PAPER! *draws lightning bolt over the scroll* WOULD YOU LIKE A BOLT FROM A GOD?!*lightning bolt fails*... No?
- Chugga’s failed attempt to use Thunderbolt:
- Episode 60:
- During the game, he starts unintentionally making puns. "Bye god... by god I'm back! Actually... hate to say it, but I think these puns are starting to engrave themselves into my skull though because I did not make that pun on purpose either. I swear to god I didn't."
- Episode 72:
- During the final Boss Rush on the Ark of Yamato, he speeds up the video (since we've seen all these fights before) and plays the boss theme for Demon Lord Ninetails. When he defeats Crimson Helm, the music gets interru-WHADDAYA MEAN I DID BADLY ON TIME?!
- Even better: this is a boss fight that Chugga sees as pathetic, and he'd already gotten a cherry blossom (think of it like an S Rank) in the fight prior. And he didn't kill him quickly enough in the rematch despite being several times stronger.

- Trial Demon Gates
- At the end of the first trial demon gates video, uploaded just after winter break: "I hope you had a good holiday, whatever it is you celebrated...*tries to think of something else to say* Umm, if you're Jesus, happy birthday?"
- Emile, when joking about his record with uploading bonus content, says "You're gonna upload it like six years from now, or better yet, you're gonna not even get to it before you die!" in regards to him uploading the next demon gate. It ended up taking nearly eight.
- The long-awaited second video features the return of "What do ya mean I did badly on time!" The first one is half-hearted and done for the Obligatory Joke, the next time he says it, he's legitimately upset because he thought he would get a perfect, and ended up getting the worst possible ranking on time.
