• Everything Mr. Chipper says is either this, Nightmare Fuel, or a mixture of both.
• He apparently made a chocolate cake for Tyke, but sat on it and it turned to vanilla. Not only does this not even make sense, but it's one of the few weird things he said that Tyke doesn't seem to be bothered by.
• The dates are just made of this. Not so much the lame puns some of the dates make, but Mr. Chipper's absolute confidence, every time, that he has found his son's one true love. Tyke even seems a little bit excited to meet the dates in the earliest end-of-day dialogues, but soon enough he's learned to be nothing but wary when Mr. Chipper brings up a date.
• One of the dates is even a Termite. Was Mr. Chipper not even paying attention, do his terrible matchmaking skills simply transcend his own personality? Will we ever know?
• Especially funny are the dates where he has something extra to say: Like the one who "feels like family to me" is a very angry looking squid, etc...
• Several of the dates are Hot Skitty-on-Wailord Action, as Tyke gets set up with an actual whale (whose doctor says she'll have another growth spurt soon), a seagull, and a flea (who Mr. Chipper says if he was younger he'd marry her himself).
• Tyke's falling sprite is pretty funny also.
