- Two words: "ED SULLIVAAAAAN!!!"
- Near the end, Harry MacAfee chimes in with "Ed, I love you!" That it came out of Paul Lynde's mouth is funny enough, but it gets better: on June 12, 1960, Lynde and company sang "Hymn for a Sunday Evening" on the real Ed Sullivan Show! Yes, he actually said "I love you" to Ed's face!
- Albert sneaking his speed pill to a conductor, who then conducts Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty at a very fast speed...the poor ballet dancers!
- "Uh, thank you, Russian dancers, for that brilliant and unexpected bit of burlesque."
- This is even more hilarious to ballet enthusiasts, who are well aware that the part of Sleeping Beauty being performed is the infamously difficult "Rose Adagio" — which is widely reputed to be the most difficult bit of choreography in classical ballet. The poor ballet dancers, indeed...!!
- Paul Lynde pretty much steals every scene he's in!
- Conrad's nigh supernatural effects on women, especially the way they go absolutely nuts at the mere mention of his name. The mayor’s wife is even still in a seizure hours later!
