With a podcast featuring a long-time writer for the Sonic franchise, it’s not too surprising there’s some moments on the BumbleKast that are worth a chuckle.
- In a moment of Crosses the Line Twice, they discuss various characters favorite ice cream flavors, Kyle suggesting Cream's might be vanilla, then Ian points out how wrong it sounds to say that Cream eats Vanilla.
- One questioner asked how he’d write a hypothetical “Everybody Loves Shadow” Valentine’s issue. He proceeds to make it about Shadow encountering each with the horror movie reveals they’re madly in love with him, ending with Shadow sealing himself away in the Ark just to get away from it all.
- Every once in a while Kyle has to answer a question. One of the most amusing being an absurd hypothetical where he is chosen to decide a ship to make canon. Kyle makes very clear how much he doesn’t want this responsibility. His reluctant choice? Sally x Amy.Ian: Oh, you’re my brand of evil!Kyle: I love a delicious Sal-ami, after all.
- Somebody asks about Spamton being brought over to Sonic. Cue Spamton voice impressions and some Crosses the Line Twice jokes regarding not letting Spamton near Children. There are some more Spamton impressions after the end of the episode too.
- One asker threw in a question suggesting that Mario could be Sonic's Sugar Daddy. Cue Ian's barely contained disgust at the thought.
- One viewer asked about the ultimate weapon to defeat hedgehogs: a giant toilet paper tube. Cue Sonic and Shadow both getting stuck, and Amy being disappointed cause if she'd gotten there a few minutes earlier she'd be on the opposite side of the tube as Sonic.
- One question was about how various characters would react if Sonic's world was named that in-universe. All of the reactions are hilarious, but the biggest highlights are Surge trying to wake Dark Gaia up to destroy the planet and Starline rising from the grave just to protest.
- One episode had two different shipping questions, and both times, Ian attempted to dodge answering the question by pondering the idea of a "Sith Saiyan", only for Kyle to playfully berate him for doing so, leading Ian to go on rants. The first was about Sonic and Shadow, based on Sonic x Shadow Generations and the Shadow onesie in Sonic Superstars. The second is someone calling Master Zik "hot".
- One questioner asked how a Sonic X adaptation of Sonic 06 would go. Ian almost immediately says that Chris would take Elise's place, which would mean he'd be the one to kiss Sonic back to life. This realization caused Ian to go into a major laughing fit while Kyle just keeps going "No".
- Some of the Hilarious Outtakes are of course a good time in their own right:
- A big Freudian Slip occurs as he reminisces about beginning writing for the books around the time of Blaze’s introduction, accidentally calling her “Busty” which Kyle immediately points out is blatantly wrong too.
- The extended bloopers of him trying and mostly failing to sing the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! theme song. The Kirby Poyo bleeps really help sell it.
