Funny / Black Christmas (2006)

• One of the orderlies joking with the Santa in the asylum:
  Orderly: (leaves plate on Billy's door) It tastes like chicken... because it's chicken.
• Melissa sounding positively giddy when she corrects Heather about Billy's terminology.
  "Serial killers murder repeatedly for sexual thrill. Billy Lenz was a spree killer. Dude just fucking lost it."
  • This ended up echoing behind the scenes when Michelle Trachtenberg got obsessed with reading about serial killers between takes.
• It turns out the music box that repeatedly plays "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" was Clair's present to Lauren. As in the resident Hard-Drinking Party Girl who seems the least likely to want such a thing.
  • In a deleted scene, Lauren strikes by getting Dana - the Girly Girl who spends half the film doing her nails - a massive dildo. Dana of course Squees and knows instantly who got her the gift.
• Lauren describes Santa as a fat voyeur who breaks into your house after spending a year watching you to make sure you live up to his standards of decency - remarking that he and Billy are remarkably similar. The marked difference is that Billy already lived in the house.
• Dana of course gets this line.
  "I'd like to bury the hatchet with my sister. Right in her head."
• The girls all pitched in to get Mrs Mac a sexy negligee. She looks ecstatic.
  "Does it come with a man to wear it for?"
• The first phone call from Agnes has Lauren treating it like it's some kind of sexual roleplay while the others are spooked.
  Dana: Dial star 69?
  Melissa: That just calls him back, unless there's something you need him to clarify.
• Lauren attempting to have a Kodak moment with Melissa, who says that she's simultaneously killing said moment because "you're really smelly".
• Heather seems completely oblivious about scraping snow off a windscreen, presumably both to being a Southern Belle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead is from North Carolina) and being a privileged Daddy's Girl. Mrs Mac grumbles about her being a "southern princess".
• Black Comedy for sure, but Billy getting impaled on a freaking Christmas tree at the end.
