• In the first episode, the protagonist's opening line apes Grave of the Fireflies.
• In the midst of a battle against a Storm of Boars, Yo and The Wizard are falling down after an acrobatic attack in dramatic slow-motion time, whilst exchanging glances of camaraderie. They are falling down for a good five seconds through a single story of a building.
• Episode 3. It's bad enough that Satou has to endure getting stripped in class; later on, he has to jump into a freaking incinerator to get his clothes back.
• Sen convincing Satou and Oshiroi to joining the club using her breasts.
• Sen reading Oshiroi's story out loud at the end of Episode 4. In Monotone to boot.
• Episode 5. Everyone's reaction to Satou's forced crossdressing especially when Nikkaido, the wolf he had an epic battle with in Episode 4, is ashamed for even considering Satou as a Worthy Opponent.
  • The reason Satou was forced to crossdress is amusing too. A guard is unwilling to let him go to Shaga's room, forces him to strip to his underwear and plans to Ass Shove a D Battery for trying, having him naturally flee... and a ton of other guards later join in the chase of a boy in his underwear, dressed in military armor and holding assault rifles.
    • Security footage of the chase in episode 9 reveals they fired their rifles, threw a grenade, and Fast Roped to him.
  • And after Sato gets beaten up by the Monarch, he loses his memories again. He sees the female God of Discount in that store and immediately assumes that he just had "his first time". He then proceeds to interpret everything the God of Discount says based on that.
• Any time we see the actual content of Oshiroi's Light Novel, especially episode 6, which recounts Satou getting the shit kicked out of him by the Monarch as the former getting fisted in the beginning, and then, after Satou finally wins...
  Oshiroi: "After every Shabrielle Ratchet had his way with Saito, it was the Anarch's turn to communicate with him butt-nak—"
• Episode 7. The God of Discounts who is in a shark costume, however due to the fins he can't takes over the half-price stickers and does this for half a minute until he rips his sleeve off.
  • Hell, episode 7 in general is comedy gold. Probably the best moment is the entire sequence revolving around Satou's weaponized Raging Stiffie.
• Episode 8. Satou jumps out of a fifth floor window to save his Sega Saturn. The camera pauses for this moment while Satou recites a poem about his video games and falling off a building.
  • The fact that it was Sen who threw the console out of the window in the first place, all because she couldn't win at Virtua Fighter.
  • Later on, when Sen is apologizing to Satou for the entire incident and him getting hospitalized in the process, she promises to give him half of her next bento box to make up for it
  • A line in gg's subs which is probably one of the best woolseyisms available for the context:
  Oshiroi: "Fappable! Totally fappable! Do want!"
• Episode 9. Ushiroi and Ume have an intimate moment... then when one of Ushiroi's muscle men magazines falls, the background music is suddenly LET'S GET IT! LET'S GET IT! LET'S GET IT! LET'S GET IT! LET'S GO!!
  • Yo eating Asebi's homemade Bento. Nothing tastes bad but it all tastes wrong. Including soybeans that taste like raw tuna, dumplings that are spicy and rice that tastes like coriander.
  Satou: "I don't know what I am eating anymore. It's over, it's all over. My taste buds are destroyed."
  • The dramatic buildup of the 'battle' between Shiraume and Kyou(long hair), that's just them getting official apologies for student weirdness. Then they have an Evil Laugh off.
• Episode 11. The opening portions right after the theme song where Kyou(long hair) is moaning her sister's name. Between the way her leg is twitching, the pitch of her voice and what she's saying. The other twin calls her out on it.
  Kyou(short hair): "Please quiet down, Kyou! What will the neighbors think?"
