You've piqued their interest, Ramizel.
- Elvira accidentally spills the beans that Ramizel is Sophie's grandmother in the most abrupt manner possible long before Sophie is ready to discuss it, causing things to get awkward for them for a while and for Plachta to give her a nice Flat "What" look.
- Both Sophie and Plachta's starry-eyed reactions when Ramizel introduces the use of Catalysts to them. Both girls practically pounce on Ramizel to get her to teach them how to use them.
- Sophie's reaction also doubles as a Call-Back to the first game, but catches the other two off guard with its out-of-context-for-them statement of, "Using [catalysts] sounds way easier than swapping out my cauldron!"
- After creating the means to summon stormy weather, Ramizel has a slip and nearly calls Sophie, "The best granddaughter ever!" Prompting Plachta to give her a rare cat smile expression to show her amusement.
- The party stumbles across a hot spring in the volcano, and per Atelier tradition, eventually decide to indulge in a Hot Springs Episode when, during one instance where they pass by it, Alette reveals that she's packed swimsuits for everyone. During the bath, Diebold, of all people, finds it so relaxing that he falls asleep in the water. When Olias wakes him up, he claims that he was resting his eyes... and perhaps his consciousness. Which, as Olias points out, is a Distinction Without a Difference.Olias: That's what sleeping is, genius!
