Funny / Anna and the Apocalypse

• Lisa talks about how as hot as Nick is, no one with any self-respect would go out with him. Then she remembers that Anna used to date Nick and makes a frantic Verbal Backspace attempt.
• Savage’s sour reactions to both of the Christmas pageant songs (the lackluster penguin-themed rap and the extremely innuendo-laden number Lisa prepares for her boyfriend).
  Tony: At least they're trying.
  Savage: Very.
• The entirety of "Turning My Life Around" (zombie kills aside) is hilarious due to how Anna (and John, to a lesser extent) are oblivious to the zombie rampage due to Headphones Equal Isolation being played straight and sing a song about how great it is to be alive right now.
• The first time John sees a zombie die he Screams Like a Little Girl in an over-the-top way.
• Nick’s friends have some … creative choices of zombie-fighting weapons: a PlayStation control that gets used like bolas, homemade Wolverine claws, and a pair of watermelons that are used as blunt instruments.
• As grim as the third act is, some of Savage’s Chewing the Scenery Ax-Crazy dialogue (like telling his students that "I’ve been calling you all zombies for years") provides good Mood Whiplash.
