Erasmas and company attempting to interpret Jules Verne Durand's speech when he lapses into French. Best of all is when he misinterprets Jules' reaction to a space capsule:
Jules: (seeing the capsule) "The conception is 'monyafeek'!"
Jesry: (to Lio) "Well, since you appear to be an expert on monyafeeks, maybe you could tell us how four legs and a roof are going to contain a pressurized atmosphere!"
Lio: "It's not called a monyafeek, it's a- oh, never mind."
and later:
Tulia: "I'm going to talk you through the process of unstrapping yourself from the S2-35B."
