• "Cook It Up" from Bazooka Tooth features Aesop as the album's titular character attempting to talk up a woman at a nightclub, while being incredibly misogynistic the entire time. How does she respond?
  "She punched me dead in the fuckin' mouth and walked away!"
• "Grace" from Skelethon is about entirely about how Aesop's refusal to his vegetables as a child, while his beleaguered parents do everything they can to try to argue him into finishing them: From trying to wait him out, to trying to convince him that his friends are waiting for him at the door. Eventually his mother loses her patience entirely.
