This is Coeur Al'Aran's first feature-length RWBY fanfic that is categorized under Humor/Parody genre. And it shows.

  • The very notion that Adam, who used to be one of the strongest characters in the series, got killed by Jaune by accident.
  • The entire chase scene. All of it. Special mention includes when Qrow took a suitcase to the groin.
  • Adam's name is used as a verb in two different ways. Being "Adam-like" is used to refer to someone being unnecessarily violent. Getting "Adam'd" is short hand for being killed by the boss via You Have Failed Me, even though Jaune himself is disgusted by the idea.
  • Ilia disguising Jaune as Blake.
  • When Jaune and his squad finds a beautiful woman in the White Fang base he mistakes her for a stripper hired by one of his people. She gets angry and tells him she is Cinder Fall and asks if that sounds like a stripper name, only for the White Fang members to point out it kinda does.
  • At the first meeting about Beacon's PR, Ruby tries to ask why it's so important, only for Ozpin to openly mock her into silence.
Ozpin: What was that, Miss Rose? I couldn't hear you over the sound of everyone in Vale asking me why four of my students burned the docks and millions of lien in dust.
  • Adam keeps regaling Jaune with poems he wrote for Blake in his younger years. They are terrible in every way but at least they're sweet.
  • When Jaune hijacks the Vytal welcoming ceremony, Blake tells everyone to be quiet since the message is no doubt dastardly, leading to this exchange:
Blake: The White Fang was never this bad before he took over.
Fox: (whispering) Is she alright in the head?
Coco: No. Don't get involved, trust me. It's not worth the mental gymnastics.
  • Chapter 24: The Vale News' viewer calls in their entirety, especially Blake pretending to be "Blaise" only to get noticed by everyone including Doctor Oobleck and Juniper Arc threatening to spank Jaune if he doesn't call her within 24 hours. Yuma helpfully offers her scroll.
  • In Chapter 26, General Ironwood talks about his favorite coffee blend: Atlesian Black. He mentions that it isn't as popular in Vale compared to Atlas because the people of Vale are soft while Atleseans love it because of how hardened they are from living in a frozen wasteland. Why is this funny? Anyone familiar with Coeur's other work, Service with a Smile, will know that Atlesian Black is universally considered to be the undisputed worst coffee blend on Remnant. Even other Atlesians are sick of it, and it's only common because of how cheap and accessible it is compared to more delicious blends. For example, in that story two of Ironwood's own soldiers (silently) beg Jaune (who is a renowned barista in this story) to move to Atlas and make coffee for them, because they just hate the blend that much.
  • Chapter 27
    • Ozpin practices his "disappointment" speech to Ironwood to himself, not realizing Glynda is present. Then, much to his mortification, he accidentally gives Ruby the speech (due to her having exited the elevator when he started), leaving the girl in tears, and tries to blame Ironwood for it.
    • Sun ends being arrested as a member of the White Fang because he refused to cover his chest and his abs stand out that much, to Neptune's abashment.
Winter: We ran an algorithm on your defining features, Mr. Wukong.
    Sun: Eh!?
Neptune: You're arresting him based on his abs? You do realise how insane that sounds, don't you? Are you really going to stand up in court and say he's being arrested because his abs match those of this Solar Flare guy?
Winter: Mr. Wukong, you have the right to a solicitor.
    Neptune: It's his freaking abs!
Winter: His abs are suspected of working for a terrorist group.
  • Chapter 28:
    • The entire "interrogation" between Ironwood and Sun is absolutely ridiculous.
Ironwood: Where were your abs on the date in question?
Sun: Uh. Attached to my body...?
Ironwood: Ahah! So you admit that you were there!
      Sun: Where?
Ironwood: Don't play dumb, Wukong. You've already slipped up once.
Sun: I must be dumb because I feel pretty confused right now...
    • All this occurs while poor Ozpin is standing next to him worrying about the political ramifications of arresting a Faunus transfer student with no evidence, alongside wondering whether or not he could knock Ironwood out with his cane and if his Semblance had removed his common sense.
    • Ironwood then reveals how he repurposed his soldiers' break time so as to make them more productive - nap time. As soon as he calls it out, he and the soldiers present curl up into a ball and fall asleep, right in time for Glynda to arrive with a cup of tea spiked with enough sleeping medication to knock out a Goliath. Ozpin is so confused that he lets Sun go with a warning to button up his shirt.
    • The Albain brothers send Jaune a gift, and this time it's actually a useful device used to track Atlas' movements. They also include a naked photo of themselves posing before a fireplace, which Jaune proceeds to rip into shreds and throw away.
    • When Ironwood eventually wakes back up from his nap, he's mortified to discover that he activated his Semblance. Ozpin thus takes the opportunity to mock Ironwood at every turn, including for the detailed time-table he gave for Winter's bathroom breaks. Lastly, when James orders Sun's re-arrest and asks what evidence he had, Glynda reveals the "evidence".
Glynda laid a piece of paper in his hands.
"This is a picture of a topless man in leather pants. Is this your late night entertainment?"
      Ozpin snickered.
Glynda glared. "No. That's your evidence."
      "What is…?"
"You tell me, General. You tell me."
  • Chapter 30: when Jaune's fight against Neopolitan isn't an awesome moment for him, it's absolutely hilarious. In short order, Jaune manages to cover her with snack crumbles from a broken vending machine, bean her with a potted plant and shove the soil in her eyes, smash her head into a microwave (with a frozen dinner still inside it), accidentally pull her pants down while she can't fix it, and ultimately lock her inside of a dumpster. This single sentence captures the overall feel of the fight perfectly:
Neo charged after him, frothing at the mouth – literally, though it might have been mashed potato in hindsight...
  • Chapter 31:
    • During his time at Beacon, Ozpin reveals that Team RWBY will be serving as his security while he's on the campus. They go to lunch together, where Yang has to spend the entire conversation stopping Blake from attacking Jaune on the spot and Velvet assumes that absolutely everything that Coco says is somehow a flirtatious remark to Jaune, even when she's not talking to Jaune.
    • Because of his actions with the above fight, Jaune was reported as having helped an old lady, giving him a reputation of being nice to old ladies.
  • Chapter 33: Jaune is still trying to process the fallout of his speech, and flips through a magazine discussing what his faunus trait could be. Several opinions suggest he's a naked mole rat, echidna and dog faunus, believing his trait could be his skin, a cloaca, or his penis, respectively. As a final insult to injury, the last message is from Juniper Arc (who he hasn't called), all but screeching he's not a faunus.
  • Chapter 35 and 36. Mercury, Emerald, and Cinder's (actually well-thought-out) plans to kill Jaune and/or incite the White Fang to violence fail completely due to things they couldn't have foreseen.
    • Emerald tries to give Jaune a drink spiked with a Faunus-killing-poison. It falls flat, leading to Mercury to theorize that Jaune is a honey badger Faunus.
    • Mercury tries to kill Jaune during his dance with Sienna, only to overshoot his attack and crash into Penny, who assumes that Mercury is shyly trying to ask her for a dance. Mercury, unable to hide his lying agrees, and is drawn into a really aggressive dance with the robot girl.
    • Emerald and Mercury decide to use the former's illusion generating Semblance to instill visions into the already-paranoid Blake and Ironwood of Jaune attacking them. Both nearly work... only that they were both expected to raise a fuss and are swiftly restrained by Weiss and Glynda.
    • When those plans fail, Cinder decides to create an incident by dressing up as a White Fang member and creating enough violence to discredit Jaune. Unfortunately, she is forced to wait in the CCT room... where nobody (except an elderly janitor who is too distracted to notice her) comes due to everyone being distracted by Jaune and Sienna's presence at the dance.
  • Chapter 38: Part of Junior's information on White Fang members is Ilia's browsing history. Apparently she got catfished by Miltia on a dating site, and downloaded a keylogger hidden with some... pictures. Her response is to literally turn bright red, and rip out those sections of the dossier before anyone else can see them. Junior himself tries to comfort her on the matter but it doesn't really work.
  • Chapter 42: After he gets volunteered to appear on a televised panel with representatives from government and academia, Sienna assures Jaune that other members have agreed to help him practice for his appearance with some talk show roleplay. Rather than something resembling a political debate, what immediately bursts in the room is a scene which Coeur compares to The Jeremy Kyle Show but which American readers might recognize more as Maury.
Ilia: You said we would have a life together! You threw me away!
    Jaune: I-Ilia. What are-?
Trifa: And the tests are in! Jaune Arc, you are the father! The baby is yours.
Jaune: W-What? What father? What baby?
Yuma, wearing only a diaper, in a despairing monotone: Wah. Wah. I'm a baby.
  • Chapter 51: In preparation for the opening ceremony of the Vytal Festival, Ruby is incredibly nervous to go on stage, so Sienna gives her some words of advice that Jaune was too late to prevent: picture everyone naked. The shock of it all when Ruby tries it causes her to faint, and the order of who she looks at ends with Jaune too.
  • Chapter 69: The final chapter. The story has finally come to a head, with Jaune's White Fang versus the radicalized Neo-White Fang, with Jaune psyching himself for a final confrontation against the Neo-White Fang's leaders as a show of force. Then the entire Neo-White Fang surrenders immediately, showing how much of a group of Dirty Cowards they are since they refused to fight, even 80 against 5 because Jaune's side had Aura. The story ends with Jaune and Sienna having sex in the Neo-White Fang's tent to desecrate it.
