  • The choice of music for the story trailer; "Turbo Killer" by Carpenter Brut is his usual affair...but it goes deeper than that. The game takes place in 80s Paris, and the origins of synthwave are rooted in France and the 80s in general, not to mention Brut is French himself. The name of the song itself also conveys the rapid arcade-style massacres that will only be enhanced by co-op, as demonstrated within the trailer itself.
  • The photograph of Jess and Soph in the trailer for the Commander Keen mobile game (if we assume that it still takes place in the original timeline of that series) now makes sense when you consider interdimensional travel has been re-established in the series, and now includes alternate timelines, making it very likely that Jess and Soph at one point entered the timeline where B.J. Blazkowicz marries Julie Marie Peterson instead of Anya Oliwa, and thus fathered Arthur Kenneth Blaze, who in turned fathered Billy Blaze.
