  • With the revelation that the crossbreeds are able to regenerate and revive back to life, this adds another chilling perspective from the first film in which the crossbreeds were forced to sacrifice Eeyore and eat him to survive. Seeing as Eeyore remained dead, how much more prolonged suffering was he put through to ensure he stayed dead and wouldn't revive? Plus, the winter famine that swept the woods would have lasted up to at least several months, so Eeyore himself wouldn't be enough to fulfil all of the crossbreeds in that time, so perhaps he was continuously killed and devoured once he regenerated back to life? If this is the case there is more to the crossbreeds hatred over Christopher and the rest of humanity as this would traumatise them further than just a one-off kill.
