• Bando’s past in this fic is nearly identical to Lucy’s. Both started out as abused children with the promise of better days to come only to have that violently ripped away from their eyes which eventually leads them to go on the run. While out on their own, the two make a friend that is eventually killed by circumstances causing them to blame themselves. Afterwards, they are drawn back to the institute (willingly or unwillingly) and both learn to become something of a better person by a Maple Inn resident.
