Fridge Brilliance:
- It seems stupid that even with the threat of a serial killer and kidnapper going after the protagonist, they don't bother with calling the police until the secret ending reveals that the protagonist is Lydia, who's going to get into quite a bit of hot water if they do any background checks on her.
- In the secret ending, why does the victim, AKA Larry, somehow manages to break free from his restraints only to get caught when he tries to escape onto the road? The executioner could just kill him and get it over with, but where's the fun in that?
Fridge Horror:
- The "Who Am I" ending reveals that the player character is Lydia, who is seeking the Red Room because she's "looking for more ways to get off." With that in mind, a typical playthrough will have you accessing sites that detail various forms of Body Horror, Gorn, sex slavery, sexual assault in general, and other, similarly unpleasant things. Lydia could very well be turned on by the squicky things you can encounter in-game.
- The Black Hat Post website has someone asking for the location of Elora Silverman, the protagonist of Rides With Strangers.
