In the loser challenge for Ocarina of Time, the loser must drink a milkshake containing spinach to represent the Forest Temple, hot sauce to represent the Fire Temple, sparkling water for the Water Temple, coffee beans referred to as lost souls for the Shadow Temple, and... chunky salsa for the Spirit Temple. The loser plays this off by saying there's a "hidden salsa factory" in the temple, but when you think about it: the boss of the Spirit Temple is Twinrova, who uses ice and fire attacks. Salsa is known for tasting cool at first, but then it gets hot and spicy. Cold and hot, just like the boss.
