Fridge / VR Troopers

• Grimlord shows himself to be much more competent at making monsters than Icebot, so why does he even need him in the first place? Grimlord is a CEO of a huge company and it's shown the monsters need to be built from the ground up. Icebot's entire existence is devoted to making tech and monsters for Grimlord, while Grimlord has a company to run most of the time. Grimlord might be more competent, but Icebot can spend 24/7 working on new monsters and inventions Grimlord is too busy to.
• A bit of Fridge Horror, but if they didn't think to go to Tao for help when Tyler Steele was infirmed, or even waited too long, this would have been the end of the Troopers. Ryan's old powers were gone and JB and Kaitlin would have been helpless against Irradiator, since he wouldn't have been able to write the virtual enhancement program, the laser lance would have been a joke and they would have had to resort to the Technobazooka (if they even made it that far in the battle), the Skybase would have been out of commission, and even if the Technobazooka would have been strong enough without the enhancement to take out Grimlord's new mutants, the Grimstars would have finished the job. And even if the un-upgraded Technobazooka somehow destroyed the Grimstars, Doom Master, the Vixens, and Despera would have delivered the coup de grace. Making Tao the unsung hero that allowed season 2 to even happen.
