- Fridge Logic: The title could be a reference to other zombie apocalypse games, because no matter how good a survivor you are, you don't make a difference to the world. It could also obviously reference the fact that you're immune to being infected and becoming a zombie is commonly called turning in many zombie games.
- For some reason, in the beta 3.0 version, you only need one rope to craft a bag of fertilizer, and the bag of fertilizer is described as "carefully disguised cow poop". Do they put cow poop in rope?
- Fridge Horror: In the Scorpion Science Facility (near Kensington Campground on the southeast corner of the map), there are 4 human sized tubes in the basement with heart monitors hooked to them. 3 of them contain naked zombies, but one of the 4 is broken
