• Fridge Brilliance: A number of players have pointed out that the gargoyles are wrong to blame the Avatar for the theft of the Codex since all he did was discover it, and it was actually Lord British and the Great Council who were responsible for moving it. However, this misplaced blame works perfectly within the game's theme of overcoming prejudice. Both blame and merit are often disproportionately laid upon the person who is the face of a movement, even if what happened was in reality beyond their control.
