• Vida comments on the car they pick out from the used car lot that she feels like Jayne Mansfield in the car. Noxzema remarks that Jayne Mansfield isn't a good auto reference. In real life, Jayne Mansfield was killed in a car accident, when her car rear-ended a heavy truck on a highway in the dark.^note The car actually wedged beneath the frame of the truck trailer, such that the rear bumper struck her in the head, killing her instantly. This led to a requirement of a bumper extension that to this day is called the "Mansfield Bar". Her young daughter Mariska Hargitay was also injured, causing a scar on her head that she covers with her trademark long bangs.

• The roughnecks had Chi-Chi surrounded and clearly intended to sexually assault her. Not only do you wonder what they would have done to her once they found out she was biologically male, but you have to wonder how many other women they've done this to.

• How many other women did Sheriff Do/ullard sexually assault before Vida came along and coldcocked him?
