• Fridge Brilliance:
  • It's somewhat Hilarious in Hindsight that Maude would be revealed as Satan's lover, considering Ned himself took on the role of The Devil in the Treehouse of Horror IV story, "The Devil and Homer Simpson" and the Treehouse of Horror XVIII story, "Heck House".
  • Kamala is the offspring of Kang (and thus the "next generation" in Kodos and Kang's family tree). Keeping in the shows theme of naming the aliens after characters from Star Trek, Kamala is named after one from Star Trek: The Next Generation (in this case, an arranged marriage bride who falls for Picard in "The Perfect Mate").
