  • Perhaps accidentally so in the case of the zeppelin. While passenger flights were canceled following the Hindenburg disaster, the Hindenburg's sister ship, Graf Zeppelin II, did make a number of flights afterwards, up until shortly before the outbreak of World War II. In particular, flights were carried out for propaganda and espionage... the same reasons the Luxembourg was over Hollywood.
