Virtue can see people's emotions, which are represented as colors. If you are familiar with Green Lantern, you might notice that the colors of the emotions are the same as the various emotion-fueled Lantern Corps. Red is anger like the rage-fueled Red Lanterns, yellow is fear like the fear-fueled Yellow Lanterns, compassion is indigo like the compassion-fueled Indigo Tribe, etc..
