• Katisha's final line in the play, addressed to her new husband Ko-Ko, is "Traitor, you have deceived me!" One would hope for his sake that her bloodthirstiness is just posturing. (The final chorus calls for forgiveness, but the script leaves it unstated whether she does or not.)
